IT IS DOC. Christopher Lloyd’s performance as Doc is one of my favorite portrayals in cinema and I just love how out-of-this-world he seems. He’s the misunderstood genius in all of us and he’s just great.

Alexander has no idea how long he’s even been at this particular function, but he’s kind of grown exhausted of it all.  He doesn’t really even want to be here anymore.  Too many people with too much money and not enough sense.  If he has to have one more mind-numbing conversation, he just might scream.  He’s not great at small talk, he prefers something that stimulates him and, frankly, he knows he’s not going to get that here.

When the opportunity presents itself, he slips away, outside for some fresh air.  A chance to breathe.  Hell, he would escape it all if he could.  Maybe he’s not cut out for this at all.  Maybe his father was right all those years ago.  Maybe everyone he’s ever known was right.  Maybe...

Those thoughts are cut off by a set of lips suddenly crushed against his own.  Alexander is, to say the least, startled.  His hands wrap around arms and he forcefully pushes back.  He’s not trying to hurt the blonde, simply get her off of him.  He’s never been big on being crowded by people he does know, and he definitely does not know this woman.

There’s a spot of panic rising and he backs up just a bit.
