              Turns around when he hears the sound of shoe against pavement in some kind of pavement only to see Ren running away,  “   What in the…   ” He checks to make sure his wallet and all its necessities were still in place but everything seemed in order. What the hell were kids up to these days?

                  “   You’re doing your best to try my patience aren’t you?    ” He looks up from his papers across at Ren which he knows is a mistake immediately. Attention is what he wants and attention is what he is getting with Akechi so much as commenting on his irritating behavior. @foolend​

               He sees Ren running and knows JUST KNOWS he was doing something utterly stupid. The question is: does he really want to review the tapes he could easily access from the surveillance or just live in blissful ignorance of whatever stupidity he was just subjected to  ?
