Thank you so much for your compliments and your feedback and the fact that you care about the fates of these characters. I’m so glad that I’m writing things you enjoy.  And as for my personality? That’s not changing any time soon. THOUGH I have learned to hold my tongue a little bit, because I know I come off strong sometimes. I miss you, and I still hope to get out to Germany sometime in the near future (if we’re ever allowed to Europe again). <3

Thank you so much for reading!  I’m so surprised that people tend to gravitate toward that Logan as opposed to the HCtS-verse... but I also understand it. Ink Logan is still dealing with so much, and he’s got a lot to learn and a long way to grow - but he’s gotten so much stronger and more confident in a short time, so it’s encouraging.  Thank you so much. I told someone the other day that I have really special attachment to Logan, so it’s REALLY important to get him right and not cheapen what we know about him by ignoring it.  I’m nowhere near done with Benjamin yet, so don’t worry.  And... Steel City is a frigging derailed train. I just finished writing a 7,000 word completely self indulgent chapter last night, and .... I don’t want to remove it even though I 1000% could and it wouldn’t take away anything from the story. So instead of a short, sweet little Christmas hostile-takeover plot... it’s gonna be another long one. Fifteen chapters in, and we’re still nowhere near the real action, so... yikes. I’m sorry. But not really.  Sometimes I hate being so thorough and descriptive and wanting to include more than giant plot points in my stuff. But when it’s this Billy, I can’t really help myself.  THANK YOU AGAIN for reading. and for commenting. 

Ink evolved so quickly. But with tattoos and explanations (as long as they aren’t generic flash designs) that’s what happens. Every piece of ink has a story, and it’s no different for those two.  Mr and Mrs Delos are so damn compatible, it’s unreal. He finally found someone that *gets*  him on every level, and all it took was someone shaming him in an airport during a hurricane. Who would have guessed? Ha ha.  Thank you for reading. Thank you for being my friend at 4 am when we’re both complaining about being hungry and bored and sleepy and all we can do is send questionable screenshots to each other. 

!!!! That one was so short and so simple and so ... THEM that I’m kinda mad that I haven’t written another Mr. and Mrs. Delos in Quarantine story, even though I’ve had so many other ideas  for them (specifically Logan trying to figure out how he can go back to work without putting them at risk, Logan FREAKING OUT because his wife wakes up one morning with a fever and a cough and he doesn’t understand HOW she got sick because she hasn’t left the house in months, and Mrs. Delos coordinating a get together for Emily, Juliet, Mark and the two of them as a surprise for Logan) I’m honored to be one of the first you read for him - I hope that you continue to read and to love him. I hope that you continue to reach out and say hi and let all of us know what you enjoy about our work.  But most of all, I hope you never stop drawing - because you bring something so special to these characters, too. Thank you, Phoebe! 

He’s Not Here Billy will always be so special for me. You have no idea how many times I’ve watched S1 of The Punisher to get down his mannerisms and speech and just.... to take it all in. I know a lot of what we know of Billy COMES from Season 1, and it was really important that I not eliminate all of what Ben did onscreen... instead, I tried to take what we know and figure out how he got there. I hope that  I did it justice.  I’m so so so glad that you think I kept him in character (even though he really WASNT the same Billy for a lot of the time), because at his core, Billy is always going to be selfish and want to elevate himself...but in this case, he did it in a much different way and with much different motivation. Falling in love really screwed him over here, too... and not just with the Castles.  I’m really excited to get back to this Billy. I think as soon as Steel City is done, the next Billy I post will be HNH-centric, and I really want to make it the last couple chapters from his point of view... so you find out exactly what and how Rawlins got one over on him when it comes to Reader.  Thank you for reading and for messaging and for sending this in. Oh, Benjamin. Bringing people together via the power of the written word, hahah.  I’m glad that you came back to reading - and even *more* glad that you felt comfortable enough to reach out. I am always here to talk - about what I write, or just about other dumb things, too - so don’t ever hesitate to say hello.  Benjamin’s story post-Julia was a difficult one to take on, as I’ve said before, but as much as I wish more people would write for him/explore him, I’m kind of glad that for this one, there wasn’t more BG to compare him to. It’s still a relatively unexplored slate, and it gave me a lot more freedom to do what I wanted with the character.  Benjamin with a special place in your heart makes me so happy - I hope that when I continue their story, you enjoy it just as much as you did TP. Thank you so much for reading - and for reaching out! 

Alyssa, I know how much you love Ryan... so I know how HARD it was for you to choose something (and someone) else.  But Logan is a worthy choice. I truly, 1000000% appreciate you taking the time to pinpoint what it is exactly that you enjoy about my Logans. Because.... I think that’s the thing that he didn’t get a chance to do in the show - fight. For himself, for Delos, for his sister... he tried a little, but without that support, without a real reason? It wasn’t going to work.  He has to be stronger in order to make it in life - and that’s all I ever want to give him.  Tonight and Ink... two VERY different Logans, and yet... I’m not sure I can choose which one I like more. Tonight Logan has a lot to work through - he’s still a danger to himself and to others, even with help... but he’s trying. And recognizing that he needs the help? It means so much.  As for Ink... well that was a pleasant little surprise and even though that Logan is still going to have a lot to deal with before he can come out stronger? Ransom was it for him. He knows what he’s got and what he isn’t going to stand for losing. Thank you for loving Logan. (And for being my friend. And enabler. And sounding board.) 

Thank you! I have no idea why it’s not working for you to submit an Ask, but… this works, too.  I have so many thoughts and feelings and emotions attached to He’s Not Here. I never ever intended for it to get as big and long and drawn out as it did, but I’m so happy that I took the time to work through that one in the way I did.  He does transform. She does, too…but the whole point of it was to see what he could have been like - as well as to why he made some of the decisions that he did. I’m really happy it came across in the way that I intended it to. It couldn’t just be out of character for him to love someone - it had to be gradual and meaningful and honest.  They do love each other - so damn much. And she still would have loved him, too, even if he’d outright come to her to explain what he did and why before the carousel. You can’t help who you love - even if sometimes it takes too long for you to admit it. THANK YOU for reading and sticking with me.
