Billy Russo. He’s not Here. I love this story….the way you can write and develop a character it’s amazing. The transformation that Billy has, but also the reader. In the end we can see that they still love each other a lot.

Thank you! I have no idea why it’s not working for you to submit an Ask, but… this works, too. I have so many thoughts and feelings and emotions attached to He’s Not Here. I never ever intended for it to get as big and long and drawn out as it did, but I’m so happy that I took the time to work through that one in the way I did. He does transform. She does, too…but the whole point of it was to see what he could have been like - as well as to why he made some of the decisions that he did. I’m really happy it came across in the way that I intended it to. It couldn’t just be out of character for him to love someone - it had to be gradual and meaningful and honest. They do love each other - so damn much. And she still would have loved him, too, even if he’d outright come to her to explain what he did and why before the carousel. You can’t help who you love - even if sometimes it takes too long for you to admit it. THANK YOU for reading and sticking with me.Â
