Awakening
She didn’t pay attention to how long she had ran, only letting out a yip of joy once she reached the tower. It was here, even after everything that happened he kept it safe! As she phased threw the door she felt everything stop. It all moved in slow motion. There he was dancing with Sona…he looked so happy. Slowly fur changed to flesh as her soul stood there, watching, unseen by the two. She couldn’t watch as she walked past, her eyes glued to the ground. Slight tears began to fall. Such a fool she was to think she even had a chance. She made her way into the cellar, down to the room where he had placed her body. She looked like she was simply asleep…so peaceful now. With a soft sigh she closed her eyes and let go. ——— So long she had slept. The warden had his way with her soul, braking her to the point of no return. Yet she fought back, just enough. Even in her broken state she felt safe again. Soft velvet and silks brushed against her skin. Warmth flooded threw out her limbs, like blood rushing back. Her breathing was labored, trying to fight back the coughs. Her body curled, tails resting over her like a protective veil. How long she stayed in the position she didn’t know. Her breathing evened out, feeling returned to her body. How long was she asleep? As her eyes fluttered open she felt her breath stop. Visions hit her like a brick to the face, everything Thresh had showed her, everything he tortured her with….. Then the scream came. It would echo threw the halls, and no matter where the blood mage was, he was sure to hear.  Her hands gripped her hair as she sat on her knees, body shaking uncontrollably. She didn’t know where she was or why she was even here. This scared the Fox….had she not waken up? Was she still in the Wardens twisted nightmares? Why couldn’t she remember?! Sobs escaped her lips as her arms wrapped around herself. She knew for one thing….she was alone. So slowly she would sit there, rocking back and forth gently trying to calm herself only to succumb to the wretched visions once more.
