Interesting news. Heather Masters, the voice of Circus Baby, Scrap Baby, Glamrock Chica, Nurse Dollie and our favorite girl Vanessa, is retiring from voice acting in pursuit of nursing. Been a great ten years!
I heard about it. Believe me when I say I am SO HAPPY for her to have found her true calling in nursing and I wish her the absolute best and a successful career. 💕✨
But yea.. it’s a heavy hit for the FNAF community. She’s been an OG since sister location, voicing so many iconic characters that just simply wouldn’t be who they are today if not for her.
I’m pretty sure that if Vanessa does come back she will have a new VA, and that’s assuming possible lines haven’t already been recorded but I highly doubt it. I will say that my mind spiraled for a minute after the announcement that made me believe it could be a bad omen for Vanessa’s character and her fate. But.. there is no heavy indication of anything happening. She doesn’t have any death flags from what I can tell.. which is GOOD.
I’d be curious to see what happens in the future. If they replace the VA, if one of the original VAs comes back (she has had more than one thanks for help wanted), or if simply.. she doesn’t come back, or if she does she’s only seen sometimes but with no spoken dialogue. Its kinda impossible to tell right now what the future is for the character, but I’m sure if she gets a new VA, they’ll make sure that she’s done justice and will love them just as much as Heather did/does :3
