I'm sorry but your struggles with food while living in France, while sad because hunger sucks, are also intensely amusing because I love tiny cultural differences like that. I lived in Canada for a while and while it's not the US, the differences in food habits were definitely a shock. There was little to no food at lunch! No snacks! Dinner was ridiculously early! I had to adapt by doubling up my lunch and people kept looking at me weirdly xD

Yeah, it’s a big issue with French universities :/ A lot of programs are changing that now but it’s definitely slow…I mean, it was already talked about around 10 years ago so yeah. That’s another thing about French unis…they slow as fuck. I hope the admin aren’t too bad with papers and stuff though? I remember going through hell because of Uni admin
lmao i know for a fact that i aint getting these exams grades back till WAY LATER bc i did an orientation thing last spring and the students returning said they hadn’t gotten their grades back yet. so it’s gonna be like 6ish months till i get them grades
