have you thought of starting the novel for 'for my own good'? i heard it exists (although the name is different, 'i'll retire after saving the world' or something)
yeah for my own good is just the official english title (which, for once, i think i like better than the directly translated title)
i'm gonna read it eventually, but so far the manhwa is doing a really good job of conveying the emotional stakes, which i appreciate a lot and which i feel many manhwa adaptions fall short on, only relying on studio quality visuals rather than scripting and pacing.
i do wanna see how it measures up as an adaption, eventually, but i think i'll do that after the current arc the manhwa is on wraps up. it's doing a great job as its own thing at the moment.
