nina is seriously concerned. the way the lights wraps around kuiying’s body in multiple loops, the small bulbs decorating his outfit like little stars, but is a serious electric concern. the other boy only smiles while showing off the dangling lights. nina sighs, her breath puffing up into the cold air.

organizing time to spend with kuiying was more or less a mandatory part of siwon’s relationship with the younger, but he didn’t mind in the slightest. kui was definitely among siwon’s top priorities in terms of people, and he often at times talked to him more than his own family (even if that was mostly due to kuiying’s insistent texting). with siwon’s status and kuiying’s own schedule as a trainee, finding the time for them to meet in person could be difficult, though after dealing with such setbacks for nearly five years now... they made do.

the sun was done setting by the time siwon had finally made it to kuiying’s dorm, his arms carrying much more than he could probably handle when he arrived. he was still able to ring the doorbell, thankfully (albeit with his elbow and very cautiously), and he called for the younger from outside of the door, using japanese as he first spoke, “momo! it’s me, open the door~” he switched back to korean this time, ready for an attempt to knock as he opened his mouth again. “i bought you mcdonald’s, come get it before i drop it--”

“uh… i’m lactose intolerant? it’s really annoying, because i love ice cream… and cheese… so i’m always taking lactase medicine or have it with me. i think some fans already discovered that from one of our reality shows, though — the cameras catch everything.”

“lychee. when i was a kid i used to eat the gross canned ones that taste sort of metallic, but i’m sort of obsessed with the flavor? i always buy lychee falvored calpico and gummies and at my fans give me lychee a lot when its in season. i love it.”
