[ARTICLE] LOTTE WORLD RUMORED TO BE TEAMING UP WITH BC, DIMENSIONS, AND GOLD STAR FOR PROMOTIONAL DEAL
BC Entertainment, Dimensions Entertainment, and Gold Star Media have been rumored to be teaming up with Lotte’s shopping and amusement park divisions in a special endorsement deal to reach fans of all parts of the idol music industry. An endorsement deal of this size including three of the country’s top idol entertainment companies has rarely been seen before. Idols from the three companies are also rumored to be filming promotional materials for Lotte World and Lotte World Mall and Aquarium this month after it was announced Lotte World will be closed all day to the public on March 11 and Lotte World Mall and Aquarium will be closed all day to the public on March 18.
ADMIN NOTES:
The three companies have arranged a massive promotional deal with Lotte World, and this event will be tackling all of the festivities of the commercial filming every idol will be doing for the deal! All idols will be busy with this event on two separate days: March 11 and March 18 from 9AM to 7PM, and interactions may take place on either of these days. These are both Mondays, meaning no muses will be missing a music show filming during this time.
On each day, the idols will be taken first to their team’s preferred salon in the early morning to have their hair, makeup, and wardrobe done for the promotional filming (think fashionable and clean, but with unique touches to be in line with each idol’s concept; similar to styles found here and here), and then to the day’s filming location in van by group (or by themselves for soloists) with their managers. Each day the respective location will be closed to the public for them to film promotional materials. Idols will be granted free time at the amusement park on March 11 and at the mall and aquarium on March 18 after filming as part of their payment agreement with the company (and to hopefully get some more free promo in the form of social media posts and idols later talking about it on variety). At the end of the day, each idol will return by van to either their dorm (if they still live in one) or the company building (to return to their own homes from there). Idols are not allowed to leave early, even though the end of the schedule is technically free time.
Managers and security will be present the entire time they are at the locations and will be present both during and after the filming, but since the filming is completely private there will be some leeway off-camera. Idols should still be on good behavior and obvious PDA/flirting, excessive diet-breaking, or other banned behaviors discovered by managers are not allowed and will be subject to punishment, but there will be no limitations on who is allowed to hang out with whom during the private free time and the managers will give idols some distance to enjoy themselves.
Muns are encouraged to explore both the work and play aspects of this event!

9AM to 4PM: Commercial filming for Lotte World
CFs similar to this. You may choose what attraction your muse films for and muses may be asked to board attractions they’re not filming their main CF for with other muses as extras. Still photos will also be taken solo and in groups.
4PM to 9PM: Free time to explore the park (both outdoors and indoors), including select restaurants and gift shops (though idols will be expected to pay normal prices there).
If final re-shoots need to be done, they’ll be done during this time.
March 18: Day at Lotte World Mall and Aquarium. (more mall info, more aquarium info)
9AM to 4PM: Commercial filming for Lotte World Mall or Aquarium
Each idol, either alone or in a group, will film a self-cam of themselves going on a mock shopping trip at the mall in addition to scripted scenes highlighting certain shops and venues (idol should avoid promoting any products that conflict with their other current brand deals), and/or they will film scenes of them visiting the aquarium and highlighting different tanks and features. Still photos will also be taken solo and in groups. Select stores will be lightly staffed (muns may assume any store they choose to mention is one of the select stores) and normal aquarium staff will also be present.
4PM to 9PM: Free time to explore the mall and aquarium.
Mall and aquarium will remain lightly staffed (again, muns may assume any store they choose to mention is one of the stores that is staffed), including select restaurants and attractions. If final re-shoots need to be done, they’ll be done during this time. Each idol has been provided a 300,000 won gift card to the mall as part of their payment that they may use the day of filming or save for later. Each idol will also be provided with a small gift bag of Lotte and Lotte-associated products (sweets, skincare, fragrances, makeup, accessories, electronics, etc.), also part of their payment.
Overall:
In game, this event takes place on March 11 and March 18, but threads and other posts for this event may be started from Sunday, March 3 at noon EST (the time this post goes up), to Sunday, March 24 at 11:59PM EST. Threads may be continued past the end date, but must be started before then. Non-event related interactions may be conducted during this time as well.
NOTE: All posts related to the event should be tagged #fmdlottecf. Remember to use #fmdcall if you want to post a plot or starter call for the event, which I encourage anyone to do if they’d like to!
POINTS AVAILABLE:
As with all events, there are special points up for grabs.
INTERACTIONS: Having an event thread with a starter and at least three replies (starter ▻ partner reply ▻ op reply ▻ partner reply) by the end of the event is worth 2 points. This is valid for up to ten threads this time and the threads can take place during any part of the event.
INTERACTIONS: Having an event thread going with someone your muse has never had a thread with before is worth 1 additional point for each thread.
INTERACTIONS: Posting an open starter for the event is worth 2 points. This counts for up to one open thread starter (not a text/sms post).
WRITING: Writing a self-para or thread of one of the commercial filmings (in line with the details mentioned) is worth 3 additional points. A self-para must be 400+ words and will not count toward your monthly limit and a thread must consist of at least six posts (three posts per person). Any muse who completes this will be considered to have had their individual video chosen to be highlighted for the campaign (alongside the main CFs with montages of group shots and short individual shots) and released online.
You can also earn the normal amount of points through writing additional self-paras, etc. related to the event!

she wanders alone for the first hour, moving swiftly past the expensive, luxury boutiques as she CASES OUT THE JOINT, weighing up her options and making her mental shopping list & now the retail therapy can officially begin. first stop / missha, for her guilty pleasure purchase of the day: a new LIP TINT.
she feels a presence next to her & although she doesn’t really feel like breaking her silence, she really can’t choose which colour she prefers. “ do you like the RED or the ORANGE better? ”
the prospect of spending an entire day at lotte world wasn’t one that excited him a lot nowadays. he didn’t think of himself as old — being twenty-six, international age, meant he had barely passed a quarter of a century, meant he still had too many years to go —, but sangmoon reckoned some of his attitudes resembled those of an older man. he thought the next time he’d come to a place like this he’d be joined by his family, not for the sake of spending the day shooting a cf he doubted would be shown much considering there were plenty of idols more famous than he was. still, the man didn’t complain — complaining wasn’t something he did often anymore —, just settled for looking around the place and buying himself some ice cream. though he ended up getting far more than he was expecting. “ uh, excuse me, ” he approached the person standing closest to him. “ apparently the lady who took my order is a fan of mine? so she gave me two popsicles instead of one. ” sangmoon offered them the watermelon one. “ would you like it? ”

march 18th, 2019 / six pm, lotte mall aquarium.
all day he’s managed to keep it in. through the cf filming he had managed to put on his smile and make it through; luckily, he managed to have his friends to fall back on that had truly made him feel better and made having his smile a lot easier. but, it lingered in the back of his mind through the day, especially because he knew it was coming. the transition between winter to spring was always the hardest thing for duri, ever since the accident and the passing of his parents, which occurred in the beginning of spring, was the reason behind it. with spring fast approaching in just two days, the overpowering of sadness (different from the usual gloom that he would feel) was beginning to steep its way into duri. he could feel it and there was no hiding it.
however, he could do his best to hide himself away in the aquarium after doing some walking around the mall. there was something comforting about the blue light that radiated and the fishies that swam around the waters. he’d come across the beluga zone. they looked so calming, happy, and free. a beluga had even come up to the glass to take a look upon duri; maybe he knew how duri was feeling. though, he had told himself that in a way to comfort himself. after a while of just standing still, brown eyes sparkling against the blue lights, he’d lean down. it was clear that he was shaky, something he couldn’t control right now. however, when he hears nearing footsteps, his eyes look up. “o-oh! hi jaewon!”
despite having a day flooded with an abundance of sights to see, an overloaded schedule, and truly, needing to be on her absolute best behavior, all she could think about was him. bc entertainment, as a company, kept getting themselves involved with opportunities that required contact with the artists signed beneath the edgier, concept-heavy dimensions entertainment, and within one of their groups was a man that suran had caught feelings for. whether it be the millions of characters she’s sent him via kkt, or text message threads, or the late-night rendezvous spent in the comfort of her home, or really, the exchanged smiles from afar, she couldn’t help but house a dollop of vanilla softness in her heart for one han taeho, or as his devotees call him, jia. it’s a wonder to her how she’s become so entangled within his variegated charms, but time and time again, he’s managed to bewilder her with some sort of enchantment; an incantation that only he knows the melody of. so, now that they were meant to be professional due to work obligations, she knew that she shouldn’t keep allowing her mind to dwell upon what he was up to, or where he was. whenever any of the directors for the commercials being filmed, or her management team, would ask what’s gotten her mind in a daze, all she’s done is shake her head and claim exhaustion as the culprit, but truth is, she’s never felt this invigorated. being that ‘gun’ promotions have gone on for over one month’s time, it’s been a long while since she’s been in his presence, and now more than ever, she was craving the sensation of his eyes on her—or better yet, his arms around her.
however, suran wouldn’t want to be the reason that he got into trouble, especially given that mars had their début after lipstick did. while they weren’t rookies, she still wouldn’t want his career to be compromised due to a clandestine romance. apart of her wanted to be selfish, but she knew that she couldn’t do what all she wanted to do with him this evening. so, the instant that she was let free after her shoots were complete, she searched for him, and when he was located near the air balloon ride, she grinned; ambling over to him in her usual, sensual manner. once she approached him from behind, she tapped one of his shoulders; a simpler already present on her countenance before he even turned to greet her. “hi, stranger...” the actress lilted, her tone drenched in honey. “penny for your thoughts?” with that, she was hoping that his attention was captured, and hopefully, they’d be able to sneak away without getting caught, or reprimanded by someone.
When he heard of the filming at first he wasn’t too enthusiastic about it. He saw this as Lotte World trying to make more money by having idol groups come to the place. He could already see an increase of people coming because their favorite idol group or artist came to the place. But, hearing all companies were participating that meant he would be able to see a specific someone. He knew that specific someone would be happy knowing they would be able to see each other and spend time together. So, here was he and Ahreum heading over to the aquarium. Junsu held onto Ahreum’s hand as he lead the way and was happy they were finally able to spend time together and go out on a date. He knows that they were originally here to film an endorsement deal, but considering they were allowed to explore after filming they might as well take advantage and go on a date. “We’re almost there,” he says as he leads the way. “You ready to show off your knowledge about fishes to me? You probably know more than me.”
