Yeah you should be able to do it with clean filtered water. Just plain water will sting a bit though so be aware of that. You probably just had an eyelash under your eyelid and now your eye is irritated. Did you say you can't see out of it??

Go to the drugstore if you can and get some artificial tears (eyedrops) and use that. You could also get and eye wash kit that comes with a little cup that you fill with a saline solution and open your eye in to wash it out. The irritation may persist for a while afterwards, especially if whatever was under your eyelid scratched your eye. If all else fails please go to an optometrist. :3
ahh the problem is i cant drive and the nearest drugstore is way too far of a walk. can i just do it with water too? or will that hurt meÂ
