Josh Gillet was able to design, and build his very own dream home for only one hundred and twenty-five thousand pounds, and within a time frame of three months. The home comes with stellar features, such as a rooftop terrace, and is wide, airy and spacious.
So how was Gillet able to build a large spacious, multi-storey home within three months? The answer is simple: He used shipping containers to build a modular home.
How Was The House Constructed?
The home is dubbed the ‘Flying Box’ and was designed using five ‘high cube’ shipping containers, each one measuring over forty feet long. The containers were put together on Gillet’s plot of land that he purchased. The design for the house was done by Gillet himself, as he works for an architectural firm called 2A Design.

flying tee box
Yesterday my roommate went a little crazy and he was just like ‘I don’t wanna do this or that’ and he randomly started shoving and throwing everything off of the table. That was kinda okay till he accidentally throw my box of tee out of the window (which was 10cm-ish wide open). Okay, let’s be honest firstly of course it was kinda shocking but than we realised how funny the situation was actually. Than without a word he went down from the 3rd floor and brought it back for me. :)

Flying Box (2014)
First attempt at animating a flying object.
So I had this brilliant idea that I would stay up and animate all night instead of sleeping.
I've never animated a wagging box, it was a pretty fun experience.
The gif is running really slow on my source, so it looks even crappier, but let's see how well tumblr handles it...
