She didn’t know what to expect, sheepishly standing in front of the door to Simone’s apartment. After knocking three times, and then an extra two since the first three sounded a bit on the lighter side to her, she took a single step back and began playing with her fingers nervously. She’d asked around once she’d settled into the small town where she could find a Simone, or a Jones, or a Jones’ and was directed by some somewhat reluctant townsfolk to this building, to this apartment.

It was bizarre, this, and may have seemed rash to anyone else, but honestly, to Stevie, it was just another Tuesday. She’d not only come to visit the hometown of her ex-girlfriend but moved to and bought a house within it. What she was so nervous about was how Simone would react. She was known to be spontaneous, but surely, this took the cake. Would her ex-girlfriend answer, take one look at Stevie, and slam the door? Would she be angry to learn that she had actually moved to Mystic? Or would she be happy that she was there?

Stevie definitely preferred the latter, very excited to see the woman after two years of lost contact, but was trying to prepare herself for the former as at this point, she could easily be considered a stalker... and that was somehow only just registering. Hazel hues kept forward as she stood patiently, waiting and hoping for the doe-eyed brunette to answer the door.

WHEN: 06:28 PM. WHERE: Moonie’s Bar & Grill. WHO: Simone Jones!

𝐈t was somewhat of a busy night at Moonie’s. Given that the night before had been a particularly chaotic one, it wasn’t that much of a surprise to see people were flocking to the local bar. She was happy they had rescheduled their date--beyond happy after the day she had--and was looking forward to just hanging out with her friend. Stevie had offered to get their drinks so Simone could find them a table, and after approaching the counter and putting her order in, she leaned back and waited, glancing over every other beat to see if the other brunette had found a spot they could sit yet. Finally given the two drinks, she returned to Simone and handed her drink to her with a smile stretching across her face. “They said they were out of maraschino cherries, so I stole one from another drink.” She joked, moving to sit down.
