hello chat i have finished yet another run of slay the princess
this is... my fourth or fifth playthrough i believe? crazy cause i've seen every single princess at least once come this round
anyways, basic summary and some mentioned highlights (put under the cut in case someone who happens to find this doesn't want spoilers)
decided to start off with stranger again like my very first playthrough. somehow still haven't fully filled out her gallery which is driving me a little crazy cause i am One (1) Image off but fuck it we ball. also i didn't throw the blade out of the window the first time so i did it this time. good shit.
FINALLY GOT BURNED GREY! despite my love for her she somehow ended up being the last version of the princess for me to collect and i feel bad for that... anyways beforehand i tested something out and. yeah this is a thing you can do. with live footage as an accompaniment
(oh yeah and on that previous point, i got more images in the damsel's gallery! apparently regardless of which stage in her deconstruction you stab her in, you get all the versions of it when you do it, so that's neat. less work for me.)
went through the witch next to get to the wild + also get more images in her gallery and holy shit the music for when you fight her fucking bangs. love the visuals too. anyways i went for networked wild since i didn't have her in my gallery for the wild and that was another "holy shit" for me that route. narrator was Not Fucking Having It but i also had opportunist and stubborn as voices so i was well-stacked to ignore him LMAO
decided i needed to get some more images for den + wanted to see if i could get the embrace instinct option since last time i went to the den i fucked up and tried running away with stubborn in my mental inventory. unfortunately this meant that i didn't get anything new for the beast while i was at it but god it was worth it. embrace instinct makes you question some shit i'm glad i saw it as much as it unnerved me
i wanted to try and get the fury through the adversary next but i fucked up and accidentally went on the route to the spectre in chapter 1 so i course-corrected and went for razor. my gallery for razor is almost complete but i still need One (1) Image. i'll worry about it later
went the arms race route for the razor since i did the no way out path last time. last time i did arms race i had stubborn as the extra fourth but this time i got broken cause i approached the princess in chapter 2. didn't change too much but good shit. also chose panic for my initial confrontation option in the arms race and paranoid's entrance is so fucking funny LMAOOO
(that entire route is a comedy and a half i swear)
anyways i went for the ending where you leave with the stranger. that went well! stranger's so fucking cool i love them dearly (and also contrarian... my man. do NOT fucking say that about yourself. (iykyk))
