Her performance, Threshold Breathing, is a short, intimate work for flute, voice and field recordings, where sound becomes presence, listening and ritual, inviting the audience into a shared sonic experience.

My teacher tried to fix it, but she was unable to reach the tiny screw–someone thought to put it in a place where it cannot be accessed without damaging the instrument like a mastermind. I'll probably have to send the flute out to a professional to get it fixed before my demonstration of skill concert in May, but the waiting times are bound to be long. Until then, I'll have to take care to put more pressure to a few certain valves to ensure the loose one does it's job.
