◤ Well, this is rather late. It’s been how long since he and Elliott had agreed upon meeting for coffee? Too long, Sebastian can notice that much. What, with the wedding, and the... significant amount of nothing he did after the wedding... Okay, maybe he doesn’t have an excuse, but he was proud of himself for hitting up the assumed hair sorcerer when he finally managed to. ◢

◤ And here he is now, waiting on the second floor of the library, where there is no doubt of a certain, uh, coffee shop aesthetic. It smells nice-- it’s been a long-ass while since he enjoyed anything he didn’t make himself, in terms of morning lifeblood. And who knows, maybe he’ll find something to munch, too. ◢

◤ He arrived early, so he’s not about to text and bug Elliott about when he’ll be here-- if he gets that bored, he can find a book downstairs. It’s not like he’s worried about someone stealing the table. ◢ 

To: Calves For Years

Are we doing anything for Valentines Day? Just need to know for scheduling.

It wasn’t just for scheduling, he was a fucking liar. That was why he had texted this instead of asking him in person, knowing he wouldn’t see Elliott until the next night, so he couldn’t pry-- because his lies were so paper thin these days, albeit harmless.

On certain nights, such as this one, Ray would rent a room for the night at the Inn in lieu of taking the ferry home to Arcadia when he covered the odd morning shift at the art store. There has no sense of going back home for less than 10 hours, only to come back to Leuda. Since he had already dumped his textbooks and spare clothes at the Inn he had set his mind of going for a jog while there was still sun, knowing Leuda’s boardwalk was especially scenic at that time of day.

He had changed into his favorite jogging shorts and athletic shirt, put his hair into a single ponytail, tucking his water bottle and towel onto his small athletic belt and began on his way. He hadn’t been wrong about the sunset, feeling at peace as he ran down the beach against the peach and cyan sky, focused on nothing but chasing the horizon ahead of him.

◤ Sebastian seems to have taken the studious mage idea a little too far, now that he’s finding himself in Leuda’s library, too. Thing is, there aren’t many books on magic, let alone his particular brand, so he’s sort of just meandering around, trying to see if he can find something he’s into. Shit, when he was a kid, he loved getting lost in places like this, even if he read mainly comic books. ◢

◤ Now he’s sort of disenchanted, and... well, that’s fucking depressing. ◢

◤ There is something bugging him, though. He has to get answers. So that’s how he finds himself asking one of the presumed assistants, “How the hell do you manage to keep your hair like that?” ◢ 

◤ Books might not hold his interest anymore, but hair mages? Absolutely. ◢

This wasn’t like him, but then again he would have done anything he could to avoid this situation if he could, but the past was in the past.

A particularly nasty bout of rain had his the island recently and caused a major flood in Chase’s condo, thankfully sparing the restaurant below. However, his living space was damaged far too much to live in and he had one choice.

“Can I... stay a few weeks?”

Chase was standing at Elliott’s door, staring at his own boyfriend, like a stranger with how sheepish he felt. It was commonplace for him to come and go as he pleased, making sure to set in stone how important it was that he absolutely wasn’t living there, mostly to soothe his own anxiety.

“I mean, unless it’s a hassle, then I can just go... stay at an Inn.”

Sure thing! We’re wishing you the best. 

She will be greatly missed! But we’re also super excited to see what you do with beefy bro~ you’ve got until July 1st to send him in! ;)
