In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

​The Most Merciful,

​Taught the Qur'an.

​Created man,

​[And] taught him eloquence.

​The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation.

​And the stars and trees prostrate.

​And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

​That you not transgress within the balance.

​And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.

​And the earth He laid out for the creatures.

​Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths

​And grain having husks and scented plants.

​So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Testing vintage glass on the "sleeping tree"... 🌸✨

Albizia, also known as the Persian silk tree. Did you know that its pink blossoms don't have typical petals, but are actually made of hundreds of delicate, silk-like stamens? Even cooler – at night, its leaves fold together as if the tree is literally going to sleep!

Its unique flower was the perfect subject to test the sharpness and close-up performance of an old portrait lens. There’s definitely a special character in the soft bokeh that only vintage glass can deliver. What do you think of this experiment?
