On my way home to say goodbye to my Dad. I sit in the airport thinking about when I rushed home to NY when I found out my Dad had cancer to be with him for his first bone marrow scan. Before that point we didn't speak for about 10 years. But when as soon as I got on the phone with him for the first time he said " I had to get cancer for you to call me" we both laughed and I saw him the next day at his Doctors Appointment. As soon as I saw him I forgot why I was so mad at him in the first place. The reason why I told that story is. When it comes to your parents you only have two of them. But in my case I have 3 I also have san outstanding incredible Mom Linda. Just forget all the bullshit and just be a family and take card of one another and tell each other how you feel about one another. Just be there for your family no matter what.
