Heretic’s Fork: Is there something your muse will never confess to?

Starscream will never confess to the wrong he performed in allying the Seekers of Vos with the Decepticons. He hasn’t even confessed that wrong to himself, and it will take some decidedly painful spark-searching in order to even remotely uncover that.

Exposure: Would your muse rather freeze to death, or burn?

Frozen things are kept unmoving and still, trapped beneath a layer of cold inaction. Flame is alive and vital, no matter if it’s stripping life away. At least it can still lick the skies.

So Starscream would rather burn.

Resurrection seemed almost pedestrian since the war had started, and Starscream had seen himself, his Master, and countless other allies and enemies be brought back from the brink. Now it was strangely overwhelming, this re-introduction to life, but without the constant shelling and cries of conflict. Old colleagues that called themselves friends happily existed with those of traitorous branding. The status quo as Starscream knew it did not exist, and as much as Seekers were unnerved at the feeling of solid ground beneath their pedes, he craved what he had known before.

That schism between the Decepticons and Autobots had fueled his contrails as they made their mark upon the skies, as did that between himself and his own various intra-faction enemies.

The stillness was suffocating.

Starscream tore out of his quarters, which had been gratefully left untouched, and made his way to the flight deck, not caring who saw him storming off.

He ran and jumped off the ship, enjoying a few moments of freefall before transforming and roaring off into the flaming sunset.
