The blonde marched over to his... he didn't know what Axel -- Lea, now? Ugh, that was going to take getting used to -- was anymore, but either way, he marched over and settled in next to him, leaning against him slightly as he held out one of their favorite ice creams.

Riku snorted, averting his eyes. "Didn't take any convincing, it was all true." He recognized the bitterness in his tone, didn't really want it to be there, but--

The sigh as he dragged a hand through his hair was sharp and irritated, directed only at himself. Hands very carefully both lowered and kept to his sides again, those thoughts were still there, always. Guilt, disgust; how easily he'd been tricked and utilized, how his own desires and emotions had been used and then used against him. There would always be anger at himself.

Confusion and surprise flashed across Riku's face, not sure--

Then it clicked, expression softening. There was just a little huff of breath, not quite a laugh but certainly not dismissal either. "I could be wrong, but as far as I know you were doing what you thought was right to protect your friends." That sounded a little too simple, too casual in tone, but Riku was aware of how little he really knew about the whole situation.
