Flat Branch Pub & Brewing
Flat Branch restaurant opened on April 18, 1994, and was Columbia’s first brewery since 1841. Flat Brach gets its name from a nearby creek. They are known for signature foods and a variety of handcrafted beers on tap. Flat Branch has won the Best Restaurant in Columbia 5 years in a row by the readers of Inside Columbia Magazine.

A Proud Foodie Reflects
We’re in Columbia, Missouri today for homecoming at my alma mater, the University of Missouri. You might remember we were here a year ago for Homecoming as well, when I reviewed their Cherry Brown Ale andHudson’s E.S.B. This beer has been a long-time favorite of my friend@jkaiseresq, so I thought I’d give it a try.
Location: Enjoyed an imperial pint atFlat Branch Pub & Brewing in Columbia, MO.
Ingredients: A mild base beer is spiced up with Anaheim and Serrano peppers.
Appearance & Aroma: It was slightly hazy and golden in color with frothy white head. There was a decent sized pepper aroma, which reminded me of a bit of nachos covered in jalapenos with a little bit of sweetness.
