#flashbacks are fun

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you'd care to share?

this is a hard question bc most of the stuff i have on the backburner just chilling is stuff that’s going into ftcoye!! cause its LONG AS HELL. i have a platonic kakarin fic i’m working on that i think may end up turning into a supremely lengthy oneshot, and there’s an itachi fic that i do want to write, but...

biggest premise i have on the backburner, i think, is a time travel AU i want to write. i’m still ironing out a lot of details about it, but i really fucking do love time travel fics and now its HILARIOUSLY CANON LMFAO BORUTO so clearly it’s something that’s got to happen.

i’ve got a few different options floating around (and i may end up writing all of them, i delight in having a million fics to work on), but do eventually expect a time travel fic coming out.

Z: Major character death--do you ever write/read it? Is there a character whose death you can't tolerate?

if you kill off sasuke i’m not touching the story. i would rather choke. one time i read a story and sasuke died and there wasn’t any sort of warning and it was a REALLY bad day. i also hate fics where sakura and naruto die, and won’t read those. i don’t..... like fics where kakashi dies but i can deal with it if they’re older and it’s not done terribly I GUESS.

overall i’m... mm. i’m not a huge fan of it, but i will read and write it if necessary. fics that are huge and cover so much of canon yet don’t have anyone die are ridiculous, a lot of the times. if you write a death well and you’re not doing it for shock value and USE it well, coming back and referencing it and treating the character with dignity... then that’s how it should be, yknow? that’s what i tried to do with anko, and i hope i succeeded. even 100k, 200k from now, she won’t be forgotten.
