"?" for Flash smarts?

I have a question for the people who read the comics or just know a lot about the flash in general. So this flash point paradox or whatever it is… is a timeline when Barry’s mom never died, therefore things will be a lot different correct? Okay… my question is this isn’t permanent right? Like he could get out of that by running himself out of it right? I mean I know we’re going to be in that timeline for awhile in the season, but after Barry realizes that isn’t what he wants can he go back to the things were in our timeline? Like… idk if this is making sense lol… I know he can’t go back into the exact moment in the 2x23 finale, but can he get come back to how things were though?
