The thing about dating Wally West, you quickly realized, was that time worked differently around him.
Not in the obvious, speedster-way that meant he could zip from one side of the county to the other while you were still trying to tie your shoelaces. That was just... physics- or magic- or whatever it was that made him him.
No, the difference in time came from the way he made you laugh so hard hours passed without you realizing it. Or the way he filled silence with half-baked jokes, or wide-eyed stories about his latest mission with the Titans, so much that the quiet between words felt almost intimate. When you were with him, the world just... accelerated and slowed down in a rhythm only the two of you seemed to share.
The two of you had been "together" officially for just under a month. Which meant everyone around you- Dick, Donna, even Batman, though God help you both if he ever commented on it- treated your budding relationship with the amused patience of people who'd seen it coming long before you had.
It had been easy to say yes to Wally. He was warm, he was bright, he was Wally. But what wasn't so easy was figuring out what came next.
Which is why you currently found yourself pacing the rooftop of Titans Tower, the night breeze pulling at your jacket, trying to steady your nerves. Because despite being 'official,' you hadn't kissed him yet. Not properly.
There had been the near-kiss during movie night when his face had been right there in the glow of the screen, and you chickened out because Gar and Vic had barged in with popcorn. There had been the one almost-kiss after a training session when he leaned in so close you thought it was going to happen- but he sneezed, and the moment shattered into laughter.
And maybe that was the problem. Being with Wally was easy, Kissing him? That felt like it would change something. Something big.
"Okay, breathe," you muttered to yourself, blowing into your hands to fight off the chill. "It's just a kiss. People do this all the time."
"Talking to yourself again?"
You jumped so hard you nearly tripped over your own feet.
And there he was- red hair tousled by the wind, green eyes lit up with mischief, a grin tugging at his lips. He wore that battered old hoodie you liked, the one with a faded Keystone City baseball logo on the front. And of course, he had that speedster smugness, like he'd been standing there for ages and you were the one late to the party.
"Wally?" you scolded, pressing a hand to your chest. "Don't do that!"
"What, show up?" he teased, strolling closer with that casual confidence that somehow didn't look rehearsed on him. "Or catch you having a full conversation with... yourself?"
"I wasn't-" you stopped, narrowing your eyes. "Okay, maybe I was. But that doesn't mean you get to make fun of me."
"Who said I'm making fun? I think it's adorable," he said smoothly, leaning on the railing beside you. His arm brushed yours, warm even through your jacket.
You tried to play it cool. You really did. "You always sneak up on people like that?"
"Only on the people I like." His tone softened just enough to make your stomach flip.
There it was. The thing he did- the disarming honesty beneath all the bravado. You glanced at him, but he wasn't smirking this time. He was just looking at you, like he couldn't quite believe you were there.
Your heart thumped. Loud. Too loud.
"So," he started after a beat, his voice lighter again. "Why are you hiding out here? Don't tell me you're avoiding another one of Vic's karaoke nights."
You laughed, grateful for the deflection. "No. Just needed some air."
"Hmm." He studied you, head tilted. Then, before you could blink, he darted away- literally- and returned in less than a second holding two mugs of hot chocolate, steam curling from the tops.
You blinked. "Did you just-"
"Zoom down to the kitchen?" He smirked, handing you a mug. "Yeah. Perks of dating the fastest man alive."
"You're impossible," you said, but you smiled as you wrapped your hands around the cup.
"And yet you keep me around." He bumped your shoulder playfully.
The night settled around you, quieter this time. Just the two of you, the city lights in the distance, the stars overhead. Wally sipped his hot chocolate like it was the most important task in the world, and you felt the weight of unsaid words pressing against your tongue.
You wanted to kiss him. God, you wanted to kiss him.
But how? Do you just... lean in? Do you wait for him? What if you missed and ended up bumping noses? What if-
"You're staring," he said suddenly, a teasing lilt to his voice.
Your face heated. "I am not."
"You are." He turned to look at you fully, green eyes sharp and soft all at once. "Which, you know, I'm not complaining about. I like it when you stare."
"Wally..." you warned, though your voice was more breathless than stern.
He leaned closer, close enough that you could count the freckles across his cheeks, close enough that your heart felt like it might sprint right out of your chest to try and keep up with him.
"You know," he murmured, "I've been trying to find the right moment."
Your breath caught. "The right moment?"
He smiled, softer this time. "Yeah. To do this."
And then- finally- he kissed you.
It wasn't flashy. It wasn't rushed. For all his speed, Wally kissed you slow. His lips brushed yours like he had all the time in the world, like he wanted to savor every second.
Your hand found its way to his hoodie, clutching the fabric as you melted into him. His free hand- because of course he hadn't let go of his hot chocolate- rested gently against your waist, grounding you.
When you finally pulled back, the world felt a little different. Brighter, Louder. Like every atom in your body had been rewired.
Wally grinned, his forehead resting against yours. "Worth the wait."
You laughed, a little breathless. "Yeah. Definitely worth the wait."
He kissed you again, quick and sweet this time, before pulling back with that trademark smirk. "So... when do I get to brag to the others that I finally kissed my girlfriend?"
You rolled your eyes, but your smile gave you away. "Let's keep it to ourselves. Just for tonight."
"Deal," he said, and you knew he'd keep it- because for once, Wally West wasn't in any rush.

Request:Â Could you do one, which barry never puts reader feelings in considerecion because he is always after iris, and reader does everything she can to make him happy, until she hits a breaking point in the end. She ends up dying or getting really hurt! I really like your work!!
A/n: Okay so I actually had this written yesterday, but seeing your request today, I thought it fit the request pretty well. I hope you like it :D WARNING: ANGSTY AF!! SEASON 3 SPOILERS
Love was a fickle thing. it made us do the wildest of things with a barely rational reason as to why you were doing them. Thatâs what had gotten you here, starring down the monster himself, a coy smile on your lips and nothing but lace on your body. Savitarâs eyes dragged over your form - one that familiar hazel, the other a ghostly grey. The look in the Godâs eyes was clear as day and you knew you had him right where you wanted him. With movements too fast to see he had you in his arms, back against warm sheets as lips found yours.
No one knew what you had done, or more accurately, they didnât understand why. They only knew you as a traitor - a soft hum leaving your kiss-swollen lips as Savitar ran his hands over your form. If only they knew the truth... Sometimes you wished you would have told them, would have explained but then it would have been for naught. They couldnât know what you were doing, fingers tangling in brown locks to drag those sinful lips back to yours.Â
No, you had to keep up this charade for a bit longer.
It would be a lie to say you didnât miss him, that you werenât still hurting. It really was just a matter of time before he left you for her. Everyone knew it, you knew it, but you didnât want to believe it. They way he kissed you promised forever. The way he touched you, took you as his own. Barry had a claim on your heart, one that he recklessly used until he had his full and you let him - a willing victim in the game of cat and mouse heâd been playing with Iris for years. It was foolish to think it could have grown into something more, then again, love was built on foolishness wasnât it?
âI love you,â the words whispered gently into your ear when he thought you were asleep would have had you second guessing your plans. âWeâll be Godâs together once sheâs gone,â and then you would remember just why you were doing this, why youâd given pieces of yourself to him. There were times you realized the selfishness in this plan, when he smiled at you with that familiar smile and touched you with those familiar hands. You wanted so badly to save him in those moments, to save him and keep him for yourself, but you knew, in the end, Savitar was too far to be saved - something the two of you had in common.
Your heart hammered as you stood there, Savitarâs hold on Iris unyielding. Barry and the others were there, their eyes filled with pain whenever they glanced at you. You gave nothing away, face a placid mask of indifference. Barryâs gaze was the worst, so broken, so betrayed. You never wanted to be the source of that for him, no matter how many times the feeling had washed over you at his hands. You werenât a vengeful person, but you couldnât crack, not now, not this close.
Of course they had a plan though, when didnât they. You almost smiled when it was revealed, hoping that maybe there was a way out of this where no one had to die. Of course Savitar thwarted it and any hope you had previously held was squashed. Whatever Barry did, Savitar would see. They were linked and no plan they had would work, not as long as Barry knew, no matter how little it was. Thatâs why they couldnât know. They wouldnât know until it was too late and thatâs how you wanted it.
It happened in a split second, a flash of movement as you pushed Iris aside. The blade punctured your body easily, the action so quick you almost didnât even feel it. A smile graced your lip, eyes calm as you heard the metallic âschlingâ of the blade retracting into Savitarâs suit. The silence that surrounded you was deafening as everyone stood in abject horror at what had just happened. This wasnât what they foresaw, this wasnât what was supposed to happen. You had to laugh, knees buckling at those mechanic arms caught you in an oddly gentle hold.
Savitarâs voice was first to break the silence, shattering it with a broken scream. It wasnât supposed to be you! You were meant to be his Goddess, to rule at his side! After everything that he had been through, you were meant to be his salvation. Instead, you betrayed him with a smile painting lips heâd no longer feel against his own, a voice heâd no longer hear whisper his name. You were meant to be his happily ever after, instead, your body grew cold on his spear.
Barry stood silent, frozen as he watched Savitar scream in agony, agony he felt tear through his heart as you crumpled before him. His mind flashed with every memory, every moment heâd ever had with you. They were all so bright, not one second of pain and now heâd never had another. He couldnât tear his eyes away as they brimmed with tears. This....This wasnât how it was supposed to go. You werenât the one meant to get hurt, the one who was meant to die. He wasnât supposed to lose you, not like this.
âYouâll pay for this...â the voice was low, a hiss before a streak of blue shot towards him.Â
Iris choked back a sob, hands covering her mouth as she watched you fall from Savitarâs blade. His voice was a dull echo as he went after Barry. She couldnât even spare a glance to her fiance, couldnât tear her eyes from you as you slumped against the cold earth. Rushing to your side, shaking hands did their best to situate you comfortably against her. âIâm sorry. Iâm so so sorry,â she wept, tears falling in thick rivers down her brown cheeks. It was supposed to be her, she was supposed to be the one. Iris had resigned herself to her fate long ago. Whatâs worse, the things she thought about you when you had left them, when they learned that you were working with Savitar. If only they had known....
âHey....â you rasped, hand lifting to swipe at the tears that poured from those familiar brown eyes. âSto...stop..crying,â your voice was a soft rasp as you forced yourself to speak. The effort was draining for those simple words. You were still smiling, oddly enough. You werenât scared, but happy was too strong of a word. Content. You felt....content.
âIt should have been me,â Iris croaked as she combed her fingers through your hair, sniffling through the tears. âStay with me Y/n. Weâre....Weâre going to fix this,â Iris swore, though she had no idea if she could make good on it. That didnât matter because she would. They.....They would find a way to save you. They had to. âJust...Just keep your eyes open okay? Donât close your eyes,â Iris whimpered, lips trembling with every word.
âIris...â you gasped around the word as you forced yourself to speak. Blood stained your lips now, skin paling as you bled out from the wound in your chest. âItâs...okay. I-...I knew it had....it had to be...done,â you assured. A weak smile flickered across your paling lips. âYouâre...my best....friend. I..couldnât let him....kill you.â A cough splattered the blood that now filled your lungs, breath soft rattles quickly fading in strength. Your eyes fluttered as you steadily lost the fight with consciousness.
âNo, no, no, no,â hands fumbled as Iris pulled out her phone to call Cisco. Tears fell harder as she watched your eyes close. Her words were barely intelligible on the phone, but at the mention of your name and âdyingâ Cisco opened a portal to S.T.A.R. Labs, directly into the med bay.
There was so much blood, too much blood, as Caitlin tore open your shirt. Everyone took a breath at the hole that punctured through your chest. Iris wept harder, hands covering her lips once again. Caitlin bit her lip, knowing that it was too late. Cicsco stood helplessly at her side as tears filled his eyes. Glancing helplessly between the two women, he didnât want this to be the end. You didnât heal like Barry did. Your cells didnât regenerate at the rates that his did. They knew, in that moment, that it was too late to save you. You were already gone.Â
The sound of shoes skidding to a halt had heads turning, watery eyes finding worried hazel. That was all Barry needed to know, tears welling in his eyes as he searched his friends eyes. There...There had to be something they could do! This couldnât be the end. Fingers pushed through chocolate strands as his chest heaved with sobs that he swallowed down. âNo,â Barryâs voice cracked as he shook his head, refusing to believe that this was it. âNo. No thereâs....There has to be a way.â
âBar...â Iris started but he brushed her off, moving to your bed side Your hand was still warm in his own, squeezing as he silently willed you back to life. It was like you were sleeping, you looked so peaceful. In that moment, Barry thought of every morning he used to wake to that peaceful face, to the way your eyes would flutter open and you would smile at him. A choked sob escaped as he squeezed your lifeless hand tighter.
âWake up....please,â he rasped, wanting nothing more than for your eyes to flutter open and for you to smile at him just one last time. But you wouldnât. Your eyes wouldnât open again, your smile would never light up to him ever again.

Summary: He was dead. I know he was, but... now heâs not?
Examining the results of my latest blood test as I walk towards the Cortex, scrolling through the lab work on the tablet in my hand, I round the corner as y brows furrow. âHey Caitlin, do you thi-â I freeze midstep, mid-sentence as I look up, my mouth dropping open as the tablet in my hand clatters to the floor, drawing the attention of the dark haired man with glasses on his face, the spitting imagine of my ex fiance. My dead ex fiance. âOh god.â The words are out of my mouth before I can stop them, Barry dashes to my side to grab my arm carefully.
âBreath Angelica. Breath. Itâs alright.â He murmurs, causing me to struggle to inhale, my eyes blurring with tears as the room spins.
âIs she alright?â The man asks, stepping towards us, when I flinch.
âGET AWAY FROM ME!â I screech, causing him to stumble back in surprise as I grip my head, crouching down as Barry backs away, grabbing Caitlin as she tries to walk over to me. My skin prickles, burning as tears fall, and before I can take a breath, my skin bursts into flames as I let out a frantic scream. Cisco is quick to extinguish me with the fire extinguisher, before I crumple to the floor, gasping for breath as Caitlin rushes over to me, shrugging off her lab coat to throw it over my bare shoulders.
âCome on, Angel.â She murmurs softly, before leading me out of the Cortex towards one of many offices in STAR labs, my office that pairs as my room, where I pick through my popup closet full of clothes, before grabbing a shirt and jeans, pulling them on before grabbing a jacket, my hand pausing on his old shirt that I used to sleep in. âAre you okay?â Caitlin asks, causing me to force down the lump in my throat, and nod as I look over at her.
âWhy is he here? How is he here?â I finally ask, causing her to frown, sighing as she shakes her head.
âItâs not Eobard Thawne. He is Harrison Wells, from Earth 2.â My heart clenches, aches, but I refuse to show it as I take a deep breath. âDo you need some time alone?â I turn to her, swallowing thickly.
âPlease. I just... I need time to process this.â I explain, causing her smile at me.
âAngel, I know you better than anyone else now. You donât have to explain to me.â She says in a soft voice, causing me to smile albeit sadly, and she hugs me tightly, before standing to leave the room. As my door shuts behind her, I pull the shirt, that I was touching, off the hanger to press to my nose, inhaling the lingering scent of lemons, coffee, and of home. Tears well in my eyes as I sit on the edge of my bed, burying my face into the fabric when thereâs a soft knock on my door, causing me to look up as it opens, revealing Earth 2âČs Harrison Wells, looking rather sympathetically at me.
âHi.â He says as I turn away, sniffling as I wipe my eyes on my palms.
âH-Hello.â I stammer, my voice breaking as I clear it, attempting to remove the lump lodged in my throat. âCan I help you?â
âI was... You were on fire. I wanted to check if you were injured.â He explains carefully, causing me to bite my lip to fight a smile at the memory of the first time I caught on fire, who Eobard-Harrison had come to check on me, even said the same thing. For all his acting, he was very much the same person as this man, at least in speaking.
âI donât get very injured... I also have a regenerative healing factor, everything that hurts me, injures me, gets healed right away.â I look up at him. âAlmost everything.â I correct.
âWhat did I-â He pauses. âWhat did he do to you? My doppelganger.â He finally asks, causing me to gesture to the desk chair, where he moves, sitting down in the seat as I thumb the shirt in my hands.
âIt was small... at first. Friendly when I lost my boyfriend, caring and attentive when I discovered that I was pregnant.â He frowns at that. âThen I-I lost the baby, and...â Tears burn in my eyes as I swallow thickly. âhe just, he was there and I didnât understand why but he was, and as time passed, we became friends, and then eventually...â
âLovers.â The word is coming from his lips, leaving an echo thumping hallow in my chest.
âHe proposed to me, and we wanted a family. Then... he died, and I-I lost our baby, and it was too much to see you standing there, and you didnât even know who I was.â I clear my throat. âHe made me love him and he made me mourn him, and I-I thought that your were him, back from the dead, and I just... I couldnât handle it.â My voice is coming out in a whisper by now, my arms wrapped around myself as tears fall down my face. To my surprise, I feel his arms wrap around me in a surprising hug, causing me to sniffle as he brushes my hair softly, soothing me as silence echoes through the air, a comfort that leaves me aching deep inside.
Imagine, having to break up with Barry over the phone because you have to leave town to keep him safe. âHey Y/N whatâs up?â Barry answers his phone in his usual cherry tone, making what you were about to do even harder. âI just... I needed to tell you something..â you say quietly. âAre you okay?â He asks sorry seeping through his voice. âNo...thatâs why I called...â You can almost see him getting out of his seat ready to come find you. âJust listen...â âWhat is going on? Where are you?â He questions. You start to tear up leaning against the wall. âBarry I have to break up with you...â you quietly say, hearing silence on the other end before hearing his broken voice. âW-what...? Did I do something? Y/N I didnât mean too, please donât do this I love you. âIâm sorry...Iâm so sorry...â you hang up the phone, breaking into tears. You go into your living room hugging your best friend crying into her shoulder before you grab your packed bag leaving. -5 minutes later- Your best friend hears a knock on the door and she answers it, being met with a hurt and panicked Barry. âWhere is Y/N?â He questioned walking into the apartment. âBarry she left.â She says and he looks at her tears in his eyes. âWhy? What did I do?â He sits on the couch a tear falling. âYou did nothing... she didnât want me to tell you but I donât care.â He looks up at her. âZoom threatened that if she didnât leave then he would kill you. She didnât want too, but she loves you too much Barry. Too much to let you die.â She explains and he looks at her, his face showing a mixture of pain and anger. âWhere did she go?â He questions. âTrain station, she left a little bit ago, you can still catch her.â Barry ran out of the apartment and came to the train station within a minute, he looked around frantically trying to find you when he sees you waiting in line for a ticket. He rushes over grabbing your arm lightly. You look up at him and are speechless. âB-Barry...â âIâm not letting you leave. Zoom wonât hurt me, you canât let him win. You arenât leaving.â âHe threatened to kill you...â you tear up looking at him. âI donât care...â he kisses you, wrapping his arms around your waist. âYou arenât leaving.â
"You know what, Jesse is right about you!" you yelled in frustration, throwing your hands up in the air in a desperate need to express just how aggravated the man had made you. "You are a pain! But at least with her you have the excuse of being her father. What the hell is your excuse with me, hmm?"
With an exaggerated sigh and roll of his eyes, Harrison humphed in response, his lips tightly closed as he carefully considered his words, his tone scarily even. "I am allowed to be protective," he spoke, as if the words were almost forced.
"Yeah," you nodded, your hands taking a potentially permanent place on your hips, "of your daughter. You don't get to be controlling over me, Harry. Only I get to say what I do and do not do."
"You listen to the others!" Harry rebutted, his tone losing it's calm clarity as his own irritation began to show. "You listen to Barry and Caitlin and Cisco when they tell you not to do something!"
"No, I listen to their concerns, they give me reasons why I shouldn't do something and I make the decision. You just tell me not to do things whenever anything is potentially dangerous," you refuted.
"Because I don't want you to get hurt!" Harrison yelled, his words seeming all the louder for the silence that instantly filled the room as he finished. "I don't want you to get hurt," he repeated softly, his tone sincere as his eyes met yours in a desperate plea to get his point across.
"Harry," you sighed, trying to find the right words. "That-That is very sweet," you smile, nodding in acceptance towards him. "But you're still a pain."

Â
A/N: In this imagine, it will switch from Y/Nâs POV to Barryâs ;)
SORRY THAT THIS TOOK AGES TO POST, IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO GET ENOUGH INSPIRATION TO FINISH IT. BUT ITâS FINALLY UP, SO I HOPE YOU ENJOY READING! :D
Y/N
I grinned when I was filled with that feeling that always overcame me. The feeling of doing some good around the world, the feeling of being a superhero and saving Central City. It was worth all the trouble for sure.
Flash bumped his shoulder against mine and I smiled even wider. Then I glanced back at him and chuckled.
âYou still get excited about it, huh?â Barry teased me a little, wriggling his eyebrows.
âShut up, Barâ I kissed my boyfriend on the lips lightly, leaning my hands on his shoulders.
I took advantage of where my hands were and pushed him a little.
âIâm just saying, you always get so giddy about itâÂ
âSaving the world? Yeah, excuse me if I doâ I rolled my eyes, but then he kissed me in the cheek and made me smile again.
âItâs just that youâre so adorable when you get excitedâ Barry chuckled cheerfully as he put his arms over my shoulders and pushed me into him.
âFlattery will get you anywhere, Allenâ
âI sure hope soâ
Barry winked an eye at me, making me giggle at his silliness, right before he swept me up in his arms.
I always ended up with a queasy stomach and temporary dizziness, but the Flash Express sure beat walking all the way back.

After coming back from our heroic deed out there, Barry and I took a moment to recover from the instant travelling before actually walking into Star Labs. I only felt stable enough to do so when Barry, as always, gave me that kiss in the forehead he usually gave me.
âHey, Y/Nâ Cisco immediately greeted me, rushing to stand up and get by my side. âJust in timeâ
âFor what?â I curiously stared at him, but when he pulled out a plastic cup I rolled my eyes, knowing the answer already.
âMy slushie meltedâ My friend pouted cutely to talk me into it.
âIâm not an ice machine, Ramonâ I stared at him with my special icy âpun intended- look that I perfected over the years. It worked, because he reluctantly looked away and made me smile.
âI knowâ He mumbled lowly, slowly letting his eyes fall over me again with a charming and shy smile. âBut you know what you are? A lovely personâ
Barry was just passing by when he said that, so he laughed out loud at it.
âYouâre a dorkâ I gave in, snatching the cup from his hands.
I hovered my hand over the cup and the melted green colored liquid turned into ice again easily. Then I smirked proudly and gave it back to him.
âYou love itâ Cisco replied jokingly, gladly taking his slushie back and sucking on the straw in delight.
âDude, are you flirting with my girlfriend?â When I turned around to glance at Barry, he was casually leaning his arm on the desk and grinning widely. âIâm right here!â
âNo shameâ Caitlin mumbled, briefly joining the fun, as she walked by with a folder that probably contained important information.
âSheâs not my typeâ Our friend wrinkled his nose in mock disgust.
âAm I too cold for you?â Over time I had learned to put up with the puns and ended up embracing them.
âDoes that mean Iâm too hot for you then?â Cisco raised an eyebrow, obviously beaming because of his fast and witty reflexes.
To top his smugness he placed a hand on my shoulder, with a fake concerned look as though asking me if I could recover from his comeback.
âSorry, Cisâ I teased him, placing my hand on his shoulder as well. âThen I would be dating you and not Barryâ
Even Caitlin laughed at that, and Cisco himself had to smile.
âIâd say use your powers on him, Y/Nâ Barry kissed me in the cheek playfully. âBecause that was a huge burn!â
The euphoria filled me as I kept chatting with my friends. It sure added to the previous exaltation from being a hero in the city and using my powers to help people.

Barry
I hadnât seen Y/N in a few days, ever since we last went together as our alter egos. I missed her, but I was sure that she would eventually show up like she always did. She probably needed time for herself and I wanted to respect that.
I finally reached Joe in the CCPD and lifted my arm so he would notice my arrival. His eyes indeed directed towards me and he motioned for me to get closer.
âWanted to see me, Joe?â I knew he had something important to tell me, so I shoved my hands in my pockets and listened intently.
âYeah, Barâ He placed a hand on my back and I followed him to a more private part of the room so we could talk freely. âThereâs interesting newsâ
âWhat is it?â
âA new criminal has made appearance on Central Cityâ He began to say, shortly looking around us to make sure no one heard. âI think the Flash should keep an eye on herâ
âSo itâs a girlâ I observed quietly. âWhat do we know about her?â
âNot muchâ He sighed tiredly, scratching the back of his head. âJust that sheâs really smart and always manages to leave before any of our men can make it to the crime sceneâ
âDescription?âÂ
âWe havenât got one, no one was fast enough to see herâ
âHow do they know itâs a girl?âÂ
âSheâs smug about her crimes and always leaves a note with lipstick on itâÂ
âIs she a metahuman?â
âMost likely... I-â
I looked up at him, trying to find out why he interrupted himself. He was too busy staring at something, surprised, so I followed his glance.
âIs that Y/N?â I had told him I was restless that she had disappeared.
âYes?â It definitely looked like her, but there was something different.
Y/N had beautiful blue eyes and blond hair, but that girl⊠she had black hair and dark eyes. Even though everything else seemed completely identical.
âHey, Y/N!â I called her on an instinct despite the fact that my unease didnât completely wither.
She looked over at me and stared at us in an enigmatic way, immediately then approaching us. As she did, I quickly glanced at Joe, who watched puzzled.
âHi thereâ Even though a hint of cheerfulness filled her voice, it didnât sound like her. The sound of her voice was the usual, but her mood seemed⊠changed.
âWhy the change?â I grabbed a tuft of her hair and was amazed by how well she got it dyed. Even though it was odd looking into her eyes and see such a different color. Looking into them made me feel different from usual as well.
âWanted to try it, I guessâ A sly grin made its way to the corner of her lips, which I found to be really enticing. âHow do I look?â
âItâs an interesting changeâ Joe opined honestly.
âI like itâ I gently smiled at her, holding her hand. âIt just might take some time to get used toâ
âYouâre so sweetâ Y/N took a step closer to me while her fingers curled up against mine.
She felt warmer than usual, because of her powers she got very cold from time to time. Even though it was the perfect excuse to hug her and/or cuddle.
âWhy were you M.I.A for the last few days?â I asked, concerned, feeling Joeâs eyes over us.
âItâs a long storyâ She shrugged nonchalantly. âDonât worry about itâ
âHey, Barry!â Iris approached us, lighting up her entrance with a bright smile. âHey, dadâ
âHi, babyâ Joe kissed her daughter on the cheek and I mumbled a greeting that I accompanied with a smile of my own.
I noticed how Iris had immediately noticed Y/Nâs change of look and opened her mouth to comment on it, probably to complement it. But then my girlfriend piped up.
âI have to go, Barryâ Without thinking twice, her arms flew to my neck and she pushed my nape until we ended up in a lip lock.
The kiss that followed was very passionate and ardent. Very dominant from her part, which usually wasnât as much. She could be dominant at times for flirting sake and for her own fun, but⊠There was something going on with her for sure.
Besides, I knew when I kissed her. Something was different about her, almost like she wasnât herself.
I softly broke away seeing as she didnât mind that we were in public and probably becoming the center of attention. But I did.
She just shrugged it off and left without a word.
âIs it just me or is Y/N behaving strange?â Joe had his eyes wide open.
âWhatâs gotten into her?â
âShe didnât call me âBarââ I mumbled in suspicion. âAnd Y/N never calls me Barryâ
*
The next day, when Y/N walked into Star Labs, the three of us turned silent. I had mentioned my doubts to Cisco and Caitlin, they had agreed that something strange was going on with my girlfriend, just like Iris did.
âHelloâ She mumbled, her eyes falling over us and analyzing our behavior just like we were hers.
âHiâ Cisco piped up, seeing as neither Caitlin nor I spoke up. âBarry wasnât joking when he said you were trying an extreme makeoverâ
Y/N, who still was blond and with black eyes as Cisco observed, smirked.
Our friend took a step closer to her, flinching a little bit, and placed a hand on her shoulder.
âI personally like itâ As he finished the sentence, Cisco got pale and shut his eyes tight.
âCisco, are you okay?â I quickly went to his side and held his arm seeing as he seemed a little unstable.
I know that look on his face, we all did. He had just vibed something, more likely about Y/N.
âYeahâŠâ He whispered, taking a deep breath and staring at Y/N in an enigmatic way.
âYou look dizzyâ Y/N mumbled, that hint of smugness that was on her lately remaining on her features as she glanced at him. âDid you have something to eat today?â
That was the definite proof that the person standing next to us wasnât Y/N. First of all, she knew better than to ask Cisco that, knowing his sweet tooth. But second of all, she should have known that he wasnât dizzy. He had vibed something.
The three of us noticed that but none said anything about it.
âNoâŠâ Cisco hesitated, eyeing her up and down. âWould you mind getting me something to eat, Y/N?â
Y/N just shrugged and left the room. Not that she looked too worried about his wellbeing anyway.
âI vibed herâ Cisco confirmed our suspicion. âThat is definitely not our Y/Nâ
âThen who is she?â Caitlin whispered, keeping an eye on the entrance to make sure the fake Y/N didnât come back.
âI donât knowâ
âWell, we need to find the real Y/Nâ I was starting to get scared for her.
âAnd how are we gonna do that? Sheâs not picking her phone, is she?â
I sighed restlessly.Â
I would search the entirety of Central City looking for her, tell Joe that she went missing, do anything in my power to look for her. Iâd do anything to find her. Just as long as I got her back safe and sound.
*
As soon as Y/N left on her own, the three of us began discussing what could have happened to her. Who was that impostor and where was the real Y/N.
We had to wait a long time, because we didnât want her âwhoever she was âto think that we suspected her even though we definitely did. In the end she got bored of our working routine and walked away from Star Labs. Â
Then we exposed our hypothesis about what could be happening. That could be some sort of evil twin âCiscoâs suspicion- or her Earth 2 doppelganger, or just Y/N herself, but that meant that something had changed her.Â
I preferred to believe that my Y/N was somewhere in Central City, that she was alive and okay. That I would get to see my sweet, playful and lovely Y/N again and hold her one more time.
So, with the help of my friends, I went on a mission to find her. I told Joe to keep an eye on any news the CCPD might have about it, I warned Oliver and his team just in case she made an appearance in Star City or anywhere around, and I travelled everywhere at super speed looking for her.
Yet no one managed to locate her whereabouts and we had no clue of her for a few days.Â
Until she randomly appeared in Star Labs.
Caitlin, Cisco and I had been doing our research, focused in our work, when she walked in. Just as cheerful and beautiful as always.
Even if I wouldnât believe it was actually her until I wasnât completely sure.

Y/N
I could never explain what had happened to me during those few days. It was definitely something mysterious and crazy that Bar and the rest would relate to. Some time travelling, multiverse kind of wacky event. Almost like it happened inside my head, in a dream perhaps. But something told me that it was very real.
Hoping my friends would have answers and would help me piece together the hazy memories from my strange trip to multiverse town and explain how the hell it had happened, I went back to Star Labs.
I smiled to myself when I saw the three of them, working hard and with their eyes focused on Ciscoâs screen.
âHi!â I greeted them cheerfully, making them turn their heads to me sharply.
I immediately noticed their reluctance, their⊠fear, almost. They looked at me like I was someone else, like they didnât recognize me.
âWhatâs going on here?â I cautiously took a few steps forward, analyzing their reaction. âIâm not a ghost or anythingâ
Barry was the one who dared to approach me first. Even if it was obvious by his behavior that he didnât trust me, for whatever reason. I suspected it had something to do with whatever strange events had happened to me recently.
âIs it really you, Y/N?â
âOf course itâs me, Bar!â As I spoke, throwing my arms in the air in exasperation, I noticed his lip quivering in a hint of a smile. âWho would I be, the Queen of England?â
âSounds like Y/Nâ Cisco observed restlessly from his spot.
âShe called me Barâ My boyfriend observed, slightly relieved.
âSorryâ Caitlin intervened, approaching me as well. Yet cautiously too. âBut we have to make sure itâs youâ
âHow?â
âTell us something only the real Y/N would knowâ
âBarâs the Flashâ I spit out quickly, thinking that they would notice if I took too long to answer. âAnd he has time travelled andâŠâ
âOkayâŠâ Cisco cut me abruptly. âBut that doesnât prove anythingâ
âI canât think of anything that would prove sheâs Y/Nâ Caitlin frowned in concern.
âI doâ I noticed how Barry gulped as he got closer to me. As in kiss distance from me.
He let out a barely audible sigh and held my hand tenderly. Like always, I flinched a little because my hands were always freezing. He did too when he noticed the icy touch.
I decided not to react too much as he kept getting closer because he was definitely testing something. So I let him, yet startled and hesitant.
Then he very slowly leaned in until our lips met. I gave into the soothing and warm touch of his mouth, the sweetness and softness as well as the passion.
We melted in the kiss, gently embracing each other as we deepened the contact. Barry and I only broke away when our friend cleared his throat awkwardly.
âDude...â
âItâs Y/Nâ Barry confirmed with a delighted grin on his face.
I smiled back at him, happy and relieved.
Then he engulfed me into the tightest hug we had ever shared, which was saying something. And he laughed happily.
I could almost feel how an immense weight disappeared from his shoulders as he sighed and relaxed them.
âThen who was the other girl we saw?â Cisco wondered, glancing at me. âShe looked just like you, but with fair hair and dark eyesâ
âI honestly have no ideaâ I sighed in annoyance. âThis bizarre thing happened to me, Iâll tell you guys about it laterâ
âCan she be your doppelganger?â Caitlin asked me gravely.
âI donât know⊠What is that, exactly?â
âLike, an Earth 2 youâ Cisco clarified, even though I was still a bit confused.
âLike a twinâ Barry explained more plainly. âSomeone who looks like you but is very differentâ
âThe multiverses, remember?â Caitlin asked me, staring at me in a way that made me frown in confusion.
âOh, yeahâ I replied, eyeing her back. âI just didnât realize we were speaking about itâ
âWe need a way to find your doppelganger, Y/Nâ Bar told me, holding my hand. âAnd send her back to where she belongsâ
I nodded determined and glanced directly into his eyes. The situation concerned me and made me uneasy, but watching his kind green eyes made everything better.
THIS WAS GETTING TOO LONG, SO IâLL PROBABLY MAKE A PART 2 TO COMPLETE AND FINISH THE PLOT OF THIS ONE. LET ME KNOW IF YOUâD LIKE THAT ;)
hey there! i was wondering if you could write a Flash request for me? The reader is part of Team Flash and an evil meta human kidnaps her and tries to force her to tell who The Flash is (maybe he hurts her, but you don't have to put that in detail bc Ik you're uncomfortable with that stuff) she ends up telling Barry's secret and when Barry finds her and saves her she is broken down for telling his secret, once she gets better Barry reassures her that it's okay and its all fluffy :3 thanks!!
Warning: Kidnapping and mentions of violence! Nothing hardcore or explicit, just letting you know in case it might make you uncomfortable.
I accidentally bumped into Barry and lost balance, but he quickly kept me from falling.
âSorry, Barâ I nervously chuckled, embarrassed by my clumsiness.
âNo problemâ My friend dedicated me a friendly and sweet smile that made me grin as well.
He kindly patted me in the shoulder as he carried on walking to do whatever he was doing. After all, he was a very busy person, being the Flash and all that.
I just sat in my desk and proceeded to prepare my working area. I had arrived early and neither Cisco nor Caitlin had arrived yet. Only Barry, but he had super speed so it wasnât really fair.
I started my computer and displayed all the papers I would need in the table, spreading them all over the surface of my desk. Then I cracked my knuckles, getting ready for another exciting day of work at Star Labs.
âMorninâ!â Ciscoâs voice happily came, so I looked over my shoulder to him.
âHiâ I greeted him with a smile as he walked over to his own desk and took his coat off.
âHello there, Y/Nâ Openly winking at me, he came to my desk and left a little bag on it. âThis is for youâ
I opened it, curious as to what he brought me, and chuckled a bit in appreciation. It was filled with candy: lollipops, gumballs, licorice and other sweet goodies.
He was such a sweetheart! We both had sweet tooth, and he probably bought me all that as he passed by the store to get some for himself.
âThanks, Cisco!â Excited, I quickly picked a lollipop, took the wrapper of and shoved it in my mouth. I was craving it!
âWeâre candy buddies after allâ He joked as he sat at his desk and made his chair spin like a child.
We did share our snacks all the time, it was like our thing, apart from the usual chatting and being nerds together.
âSorry Iâm late!â Just then, Caitlin rushed in, waving at us.
âIâm writing this down, Cait!â Cisco teased her, smirking at her slip up.
âDonât worry, he just got hereâ I tried to reassure her, to which she smiled.
âYou look cute today, Y/Nâ Caitlin complimented me briefly as she rushed to organize herself for the day ahead.
âLook whoâs talkingâ I told her back, taking the lollipop off my mouth so she would understand me.
âWhat about me?!â Cisco joked, pretending to be offended.
Barry happened to be walking into the room just then, so he followed along.
âSorry, buddyâ He laughed, making our friend pout. âYou have nothing on themâ
I laughed as I faced my screen once everything was on.
I loved working there so much, because not only my friends were the best. But I was helping no other than the Flash. I worked in an amazing place with amazing people and also aided a superhero to save Central City. What else could one wish for?
*
A disturbing tingling in my neck told me something was wrong as I made my way home from Star Labs. Like I was being watched or followed.
I rested my hand inside my pocket, against the phone just in case I needed to call someone to be safe. And that someone would probably be Barry for obvious reasons.
Not only because of his speedster status, but because he was probably the one I was closest with out of the three of them. And he was so kind and protective that I almost considered him like an older brother, I definitely loved him as such.
I looked over my shoulder, restless, and spotted a suspicious looking man walking behind me. It actually looked like he was following me.
Restless, I picked up my phone and called Barry. I really hoped he would answer, because I was getting really scared.
Whether it was to scare the man away once he saw me on the phone or to get Barry here with me, I didnât care. Both of them would make me feel safe.
After a few seconds, he replied. Not even his friendly voice made me feel better about my apprehension.
âYes?â
âBarryâ I whispered worriedly.
âY/N? What is it?â He told me, concerned as well. âAre you okay?â
âThereâs a man in the streetâ I looked over my shoulder, hoping he couldnât hear me. âI think heâs following meâ
âWhere are you? Iâll be right there!â
âIâm-â I was about to tell him when I heard fast footsteps behind me.
He was getting closer.
âOn my way home from workâ The footsteps were barely a few inches behind me as I finished the sentence.
âHold on, Iâm on my wayâ Barry told me just as I felt two hands settling in my shoulder.
âBarry!â I yelled in panic, just before I dropped my phone and everything turned dark.
*
When I came to I felt confused, dizzy and disoriented. I opened my eyes, which felt painful because of the intense headache that spread all over my skull.
I tried to sit up when I realized my hands were tied behind my back. I was sitting in a cold metal chair that made me feel heavy and left me with a cold fear.
âYouâre finally awakeâ A scary and hoarse male voice said from somewhere in front of me.
Everything felt confusing and surreal, which was probably explained by my headache. I might have a concussion.
âWhere am I?â I asked him weakly, feeling my voice feeble and low. âWho are you?â
âHow am I to question an unconscious subject?â He smirked, completely ignoring my questions.
âQuestion?â I cringed in fear at what that could mean and imply.
âJust one simple questionâ He held up one finger and took a few steps closer to me. âWho is the Flash?â
âWho is-â I repeated, dumbfounded. âHow am I supposed to know?!â
Even with a concussion, it was clear what was happening. I was a part of Team Flash, and that man somehow knew about it. Most likely, he was an evil metahuman who was trying to take down his arch enemy. The Flash.
âOh, thatâs easy...â The man got so close to me that I averted my eyes, tilting my head the other way. âI know you work with himâ
âI donât!â I exclaimed, loyal to my friend. It would be better if I played dumb. âAnd I have no idea who he is!â
âWe can do this the easy or the hard wayâ That guy looked angry, and I did not like that. âNow tell me, what is it gonna be?â
I still looked the other way, until he held my face with rough hands and made me stare at him. I shut my eyes tight, uncomfortable and frigthened.
âWho is he?!â
âI donât know!â I shouted, already shaking in fear. âI swear, I donât know!!â
âThe hard way it is thenâ His voice sounded extremely intimidating as he held a hand up.
I had no idea what powers he had, but I knew something for sure. I wasnât going to like it.
*
I couldnât stop crying. Everything felt so terribly wrong that it was the only thing I could do.
After that torture the metahuman put me to, I was sensitive all over. Every muscle sore because of the strain and pain I was subjected to, making my body shake and my muscles tense.
Not to mention the fact that I gave up. I had betrayed Barry by confessing.
I told that man who the Flash was. I spoke Barry Allenâs name. The words just slipped from my lips before I could stop them, screaming in the hopes that the nightmare would stop.
What I didnât think about was the fact that I was no longer useful to him. I was probably going to die. And feeling so low and miserable, I was starting to believe that I deserved it.
After all, I broke Barryâs trust. I had betrayed him by exposing his secret identity and hence putting him and all of Central City in danger. And I would never forgive myself for that. I didnât mean to do it, I didnât want to talk, but I just couldnât take any more of that terrible pain.
âY/N!â A whisper came. âThere you are, finally!â
âBarryâŠâ I sighed in relief at the sight of him. Even if the guilt stirred my insides in a very unpleasant way.
âIâm hereâ He whispered soothingly yet worriedly. âItâs okay, Iâll get you out of hereâ
My friend untied me from the chair and then swiftly picked me up in his arms. Then his sweet green eyes fell over me as he observed me in concern. He probably didnât like to see me so wounded and weak.
âAre you okay?â He asked me as he pushed me against him to comfort me.
I just nodded and hid my face in his shoulder, shaking like a leaf. However, it felt like I didnât have the right to look him in the eyes after I discovered his secret identity to one of his enemies. It felt wrong, I felt wrong.
We moved quickly, and I knew that he was taking me out of there with his powers. It made my unease to lessen slightly because that man wouldnât hurt me anymore. But nothing could ever reassure my tortured mind.
As soon as he carefully put me to my feet, I glanced at him and took a deep breath to gather all the courage I could.
âBarry, I need to tell you somethingâ That was the least I could do, confess my mistake. My horrible and unforgivable mistake. âI told him who you areâ
âWhat?â He observed me carefully.
âHe took me to get to youâ I explained, sobbing out of shame and fear still. âHe⊠tortured me and I couldnât⊠I ended up telling him your secret identityâ
âY/NâŠâ Barry whispered sadly.
âI know, Iâm despicable!â By that point, I was already crying. âYou should have let him kill me, I deserved it!â
âHey, no, no, noâ Gently, he wiped my tears and spoke softly to me. âYou donât deserve to die, never! I know you had no other choice, I understand that!â
âBut, Barry!â I complained, not wanting to let him forgive me because I couldnât even forgive myself. âI put you in danger for my weakness! And with that, all of Central City!â
âYouâre my friend, and I love youâ Barry gravely told me, fixing his eyes on me seriously. âNo matter what, okay?â
âSo youâre not mad?â
âNo! I know you didnât want to do it. I donât even want to think about what he did to you so you would talkâ He shut his eyes tight, cringing at the thought. âThe important thing is that youâre here, safe with meâ
âBut I told him your secret!â
âI know, but weâll figure it outâ He nodded and gently placed his hands on my shoulders, squeezing them fondly. âWe will find a way to fix this, togetherâ
âI canât believe youâre still my friend after thisâ I sniffled, trying to get a hold of myself.
âI said no matter what, Y/Nâ He grinned a little to cheer me up. âWell, unless you were to do something terrible or something like that. This is really not so badâŠâ
I chuckled at his joke and glared at him in a thankful gesture that he understood.
âLetâs get those nasty wounds healed, okay?â Gingerly, he brushed his thumb against a cut in my cheek.
I nodded silently and sighed shakily, slightly wincing at the pain of my wounds.
âEverythingâs okayâ Gently, he placed his hands on my back and attracted me towards him in a warm embrace that was very much needed.
