FLAPJACKARAK

Flapjackarak is a relative of Waffstackarak, in this incredibly specific family of “Bugsnax Based On Wheel Spiders As Well As A Stack Of Sweet Doughy Breakfast Foods With Breakfast Meats For Legs Which They Use To Create Whirlwinds”. It is a very specific niche, but it works quite well!

First, I would like to point out how Flapjackarak’s eyes are on top of the middle pancake, slightly obscured by the top one! It is a very nice touch. Second, I think it is an overall more pleasant design than Waffstackarak, sorry Waffstackarak! I just do not like to look at sausages all that much, and the smooth texture of the pancakes here is so pleasing. So cozy.

As a creature, though, Flapjackarak is not pleasant or cozy, it is violent! In the desert, Flapjackarak walks. It only does so starting in the morning, as a Breakfast Food, but its patrol is extremely deliberate. It walks with intent and purpose. And when it feels the need, it will spin up its signature dust devil, making its pillar of wind that will sweep up any creature in its path!

This ability is really quite useful to catch Bugsnax, because so many around here are on fire. The wind will not only knock out anything caught in it, but will extinguish any flames, as well, letting them be easily captured. This can be used to easily capture even a flying Buffalocust! Even the mighty Picantis can be swiftly defeated by Flapjackarak!
