modern au headcanon that rengoku kyojuro is hard of hearing (due to an accident that occurred when he was 10) so he can only hear himself without his hearing aids if he shouts (which actually was always a Character Trait of his but now its convenient!) & his mom signed him up for sign language lessons before she passed!!! and hilariously, when he meets his soulmate giyuu their relationship is complicated at first bc rengoku doesnt always wear his hearing aids and giyuu is such a quiet thing, rengoku is always so sweet when he tells giyuu to please speak up ;_; giyuu secretly goes off to start learning sign language on his own and for rengokuās 21st he surprising rengoku with āhappy birthday rengoku-sanā. rengoku immediately began to tear up despite it being a pretty normal gesture, mostly because heās been in love with giyuu for many many months now and is so grateful that its the love of his life that decided to learn for him unprompted š„¹
i saw a post that was like inotan is hilarious because tanjiro has a sensitive nose and inosuke probably smells really bad, but have you considered tanjiro literally loves inosukeās sweaty foresty musk like his hair smells dirty in a cozy way and his clothes smell spicy and sweaty and muddy like he doesnt smell good he objectively smells pretty bad but tanjiro finds it to be one of the most comfy things about him and one of the hottest things about him. dont get him started on inosukeās armpits
