Sessio #7: Olutcocktail

Tuopin ääressä antoi tällä kertaa sessioiden aiheeksi olutcocktailin. Olisin voinut kirjoittaa vaikka cocktaileista joissa on pelkästään eri oluita. Ehkä cocktaileista jotka maistuvat siltä kuin niissä olisi olutta vaikka ei ole? Ehkä määritelmän, ja korrektiuden, rajoja rikkovasta juomayhdistelmästä joka ei teknisesti ottaen ole cocktail.

Otin kuitenkin kirjoitukseni aiheeksi olutcocktailien klassikon, Flaming Dr. Pepperin. Tässä “herkussa” laitetaan shottilasiin amarettoa ja ilmeisesti oikeaoppisesti rommia, mutta oppimassani versiossa mahdollisimman vahvaa alkoholia. Tämä siksi koska pinta sytytetään palamaan ja shottilasi pudotetaan palavana oluttuoppiin.

Tämän jälkeen juoma kumotaan tietysti kerralla alas ja viimeistään jälkimaussa maistuu selvästi Dr. Pepper. Vihaan Dr. Pepperiä, mutta ikoninen kohtaus hienossa elokuvassa toi aikanaan tämän drinkin listalleni.

Ei se mikään makuelämys ollut tälläkään kertaa, mutta tieteen ja blogisessioiden nimissä se oli vielä kerran kumottava!
