“Bloom wait,” A hand reaches out for her sister’s shoulder. She couldn’t blame Bloom, not really. She’d been a baby when their home was destroyed, and their people scattered or died or both. Daphne had been sixteen, she remembered Domino, she’d been forced to bear a grief neither Mike or Vanessa could fully understand. Her home, her parents, her very culture was lost in just one night. For Bloom’s sake, for their safety, tales of their home had been relegated to mere bedtime stories, fiction... but Daphne knew better.
