Jazz and Blaster are orphans, and grew up (survived) on the streets of Iacon, so they called each other brothers.
Prowl and Springer are actually father and son, Springer was artificially created using Prowl's DNA. Since Springer born very small, Prowl raised him not as a son but as a brother, because according to the strategist, he was psychologically not ready to be a father, so it was easier for him to consider Springer a brother. Everyone who knew the truth (Optimus and Ratchet) promised not to tell anyone. Springer himself does not know the truth.
Tracks had been courting Blaster for quite some time, but he did not reciprocate (Blaster loved Tracks very much), because he was afraid that Tracks would abandon him if he found out that all 5 cassette bots were his children. Flamespark is very similar to Hot Rod, he is charismatic, has confidence and a heroic spark, but is tempered by Springer's pragmatism. He often feels a strong need to live up to his legendary parents, sometimes to the point of excess, once he even tried to challenge Megatron, of course he lost before the battle even began. He is naturally inclined to inspire others, even if he does not always realize it. Flamespark is less impulsive than Hot Rod, but very sarcastic, like Springer. He loves video games and plays ALL GAMES, he is a gamer from head to toe. He has a great relationship with his relatives, loves to compete in dances with Bassline to the songs Dashbeat. But he also likes to watch detectives with Sonicstep. He comes up with nicknames for everyone, for example, he calls Octantis "Meg Jr." and Bluesun calls him "Demon," and Cura "Nurse." He has a great relationship with Hot Rod with his parents, but with Springer he has a more complicated relationship, because they are a little different and have a hard time finding a common language.
