Flamesoul Character: Ragnor Swift
Character Profile: Ragnor Swift
Occupation: Captain of a bounty crew, Flamesoul.
Light red skin with Pointed ears, and long black hair tied back in a tight pony tail. Yellow eyes that have slits like a cats. Has a medium build, and is light on his feet. He wears a sleeveless white shirt, with a Captain jacket over it, with the crew’s name Flamesoul on it. He wears a pair of dark pants, that have small pockets that open with a touch to the top of them, as well as having a hole in the back for a long thin tail, spaded at the the end (The spaded end of the Tail could be used as a weapon since it is quite sharp if when a Iblis Erkekler is feeling threatened). He wears fingerless leather gloves with studded knuckles. Underneath his clothes is a large symbol on his back, which represents banishment from his people. He has a metallic right leg.
As a young boy Ragnor was considered one of the more gifted of the Iblis Erkekler, who have always been a unique race. Ragnor's ability was, and still is, being able to understand and comprehend things quicker than most of the Iblis people. Many of the Ibis urged Ragnor to become a scientist, and help with research to solve problems that have been plaguing other races on other planets. However, Ragnor was more interested in watching and gathering information, and fighting other opponents to test his strength. Ragnor would grow up learning how to fight, against his family and council's advice. By fifteen(Which is appropriate age for Iblis to choose their focus) , Ragnor had become quite cocky and self centered. Enough so that he decided to go and join the IMD, Iblis Military Defense, and quickly bested his peers. However, Ragnor didn’t like the discipline that came with it, questioned it at every turn, and eventually lead to him being kicked out.
Angered he attacked a sergeant and nearly killed him in the process. Nearly killing a fellow Iblis in the military marked him with treason. Since Ragnor was sentence with treason, but still being of young age, instead of doing what they usually did, which is a death penalty, The Council banished him from his home. Stripping him of his clothing they force a laser to mark his skin with the symbol, that to most Iblis would mark him as a outcast. With nothing but his wits, Ragnor survived the slums on a unknown world, and learning about how stupid he really was. He learned that even with his talent, and how well he can fight, between all the types of races in the universe, he wouldn't stand a chance. He decided to join a small mercenary group, which allowed him to learn about other races, and how to better interact with them.
He slowly became less cocky during missions as he saw that during mercenary work, your life could end instantly, and so after a few years of mercenary work decides to leave, and join a small crew of bounty hunters. In which he gladly learns of many new ways to understand himself and others. He also experience more intimate moments here than he did with the mercenary group.
However, on a job looking for a thief who has stolen valuables from a city on earth, Ragnor gets caught by the group of thugs, and is thoroughly beaten. He was rescued by his crew mates. Under normal circumstances this would be great, however during a large scale battle between the groups Ragnor lost his right leg, cause of explosives used.
Afterward Ragnor becomes very agitated with a new mechanical leg, and is put off any duties of helping with issues or jobs. Putting into everything of getting better, Ragnor begins extensive recuperation and learns that he is a lot stronger with this new leg, and makes adjustments to help him move around faster, and gives himself the name Ragnor Swift.
Eventually Ragnor begins assignments again, and begins to feel himself drifting away from his friends and allies. After a few missions, Ragnor tells the captain he is leaving, to find what he needs to do.
A few years later, and doing several odd jobs to get by, Ragnor discovers a Ciragor with his gold shell cracked and defending himself against a onslaught of other races. Ragnor jumps in to help and the Ciragor, named Vestail, defend off the attackers and gets away.
The two become fast friends and begin talking, and Vestail states he is looking for a bounty crew who needs a mechanic, to which Ragnor informs him that there isn't any around here who is looking for some like that. Disappointed, Vestail is about to leave, when they get bumped into a small man, or a Kisleny, To which groans and starts muttering what the two assume to be quite harsh language at them. After calming the male Kisleny down, they learn that he just got kicked out of flight school, right at the end for pulling an illegal maneuver while flying, even though he was the top of his class.
Ragnor getting an Idea, decides to ask the two how about they start up a group of Bounty hunters, in which both Vestail and the Kisleny, who gives them the rough translation of a name that means water, so they both call him Viz.
Fast forward to almost present time, Ragnor picks up a few more members and is running a decently successful Bounty Hunter group, called Flamesoul(a name that Viz fought against the whole time.)The story to take place begins before the group packs up the latest supplies, Ragnor notices a human being assaulted, and goes and help.
Is noble to a fault, and tries help those he can, even though his personality is rough and usually finds hard to make friends. He is also well off holding a grudge toward people who has managed to hurt him in the past, and Rarely enjoys meeting anyone from his own race. He Has issues expressing oneself sometimes.
A standard issue blaster is usually seen on most bounty hunters, but Ragnor as well carries a plasma shield that comes in a bracelet, that can be wired to pick up motion to activate. Shields can vary, but Ragnor’s is similar to a old fashioned tower shield.
Body Modifications/Tattoos/Piercings:
While no Piercings, He does have a body mod for his missing leg. It appears silver and looks distinguishable like a leg otherwise. The modification is simple, but can allow the user to propel themselves faster than user, say jumping or running. However since it is only one leg, the use for it isn’t always the best. Even though it isn’t a Tattoo, Ragnor does have the symbol of his banishment on his back. When he has his shirt removed it shows semblance to a Knight’s shield, cracked down the middle, and a dagger in the center point of the shield.
