I saw him first, the flame of the fire,

A soul ablaze, a heart of desire.

His light burned bright, too fierce to hold,

A story untold, a tale of gold.

And I , the flame of a humble lamp,

A quiet glow in the evening damp.

I watched from afar, my heart set alight,

A fleeting crush, a stolen sight.

But the wind whispered truths i couldn't deny,

Our paths diverged beneath the sky.

His fire to wild, my flame too meek,

Two souls apart, no words to speak.

So, i let him burn, untamed, unbound,

While i stayed still,where roots are found.

For some flames meet but never blend,

And some love stories quietly end.

Yet, in my heart, his spark will stay,

A Flamelight memory, lightning my way.
