Nowhere, Now Here - Flamelight

Silly Poet goofing around… Shoutout to the wonderful Marko from Poets of the Fall!

Such a delight to briefly meet with you again yesterday!

(For any who might not know (yet): He kindly lent his voice to part of Flamelight‘s debut audio poetry album / audiobook, Worlds Into Words.)

New poetry writings and ideas are in the works… Already for quite a while now, and will still take time, but stay tuned!

They gild each night with starlight by and by,

Of morning dew and summer’s greenery.

Its heady and immeasurable height.

Time flies! Worlds Into Words turns 1 today! And Flamelight as a project turns 2, since the main idea for it took shape on December 4th, 2020.

I am so glad and grateful to be able to have reached this point with this project. Giving ideas, strange dreams, experiences and mental images form by turning them into poetry and connecting them to tell stories, of inner and outer worlds alike. A first chapter of many, a stage with more to follow, perhaps not unlike life.

Once again the biggest thanks to Marko from Poets of the Fall for his brilliant voice work that brings one of the poems’ protagonists to life. Collaborating with you was and is truly something to treasure: insightful, inspiring and encouraging, meaningful in the best of ways. Thank you sincerely.

And of course, equally big thanks to everyone out there who gives the album a listen and ends up enjoying it, via download or streaming. For spreading the word, liking or following on social media - all support that helps keep small independent projects such as this going. So thank you very much, yes, you who is reading this right now! May you have found something in Worlds Into Words that speaks to you.

How is it already half a year since Worlds Into Words got released?! Time flies! Also time for some thanks, because this can‘t be said often enough:

First and foremost to the wonderful people who are Poets of the Fall, particularly to Marko, for working together! For lending his voice to the album’s second main character, bringing him to life in a way no one else could. So thank you, Marko, once again, and also Captain for the technical side of Marko‘s recorded parts.

With Worlds Into Words as Flamelight‘s debut project and the first instalment of a larger story arc, it‘s such a big step for me as an artist to have come to this point with this release. And that you, Poets of the Fall, took and take part in bringing words and emotions to life and characters into existence - I’ll never have enough words to express how much this means to me.

Also equally huge thanks to each and everyone of you out there who listens, likes, shares, comments  - keep it coming to help spread the word!
