A 90 dollar minifee recast is way better quality than a 90 dollar legit. Why would I buy secondhand when I could buy a recast brand new. The difference is a paper and some elitist people accepting me. I’d rather enjoy a doll that will yellow slower. And many secondhand dolls are already yellowed. I bought Miyn from Fantasy Angel from Etsy.. I asked knowledgeable people on redit to identify it ( I really wanted to buy a legit) and all answers were wrong. I considered buying a legit FL doll which is similar-ish and ask someone to do exactly same faceup as on Etsy but.. Artist don't seem to be keen on copying someone else work. So.. I just bought her, paid 300 pounds and I love her. But I feel scared to even ask at the forum to not get banned.. So how do I know if it's a recast?

Antis proartists elitists will always tell you there's a way to know, but if it's 2nd or + hand, depending on the recaster, it might be impossible to know unless you got a COA or box, and even then, I've seen proartists selling good quality recast on the box or with the COA of their legits. Specially consider how bad and radom FL MNFs quality is.

So, I'm sorry, I don't think there's a way to know for sure. I've seen people who own legit MNFs being accused to own recast too. That company it's a mess to identify.
