on monday she explained tht me missing work, makes her ‘look bad.’ so, i need to stop calling out sick (like it’s in my control). then thursday, i was out ill and she emailed me, no concern about how i was doing, just a punishment.

That's insane! I don't know how the laws are over there but where I'm from, that would be illegal. Can't the union do something? Cause you are not supposed to be punished for having a chronic illness.
oh she found a legal way to do it, she knows our contract better than most. she’s not allowed to just at-will fire me, but she can make me miserable enuf to want to quit. it’s, sadly, a relatively common practice in education. too bad for her tho, cuz i love my students and i am not leaving them, unless i’m being dragged away kicking and screaming.
