So, without including any asteroids, I have a big fat Grand Cross in my birth chart. And Tumblr made it famous for its difficulty.
The planets involved are Mars (taurus), Neptune (aqua), Sun (scorpio) and Saturn (leo). How do i fix that? Well, not literally, but you know what i mean. It's clearly something to do with the resistance to change or something like that, but i kind of have trouble interpreting it in combination with the planets.
Moving to the second part of this ask ->
-> i have been thinking about your moon sign. Since you mentioned your pluto/8th house influence. I'm guessing it is in 8th? That would explain the "ironically hard to guess". Hmm. I'm still afraid to guess the sign :)) I feel like you have a lot of fixed energy (if not, then cardinal). So maybe a fixed moon?
Yeah, i refused to retire like a champion after those guesses a while ago. Maybe it would've been a better decision.
With your fixed grand cross, here we have a struggle when it comes to moving forward or a difficulty when it comes to managing the obstacles in your life that prevent you from freely pursuing your path. With a fixed grand cross, the problem often times is that every planet included (since it’s fixed) demands a lot of attention and wants you to follow its particular desires and take on it’s idelogy. This can lead to either neglect of certain planets or/and extreme exhaustion of trying to handle all the demanding energies in the chart.
Especially with Mars, Saturn and Sun included the restriction of taking action might be especially strong, as Saturn adds a huge sense of responsibility and makes you extremly aware of the limitation of society and real life you will have to accostume to, Sun might feel restricted in it’s possibility to be and take opportunities and might feel strongly challenged to the point of exhaustion or being easily triggered. And of course Mars here can feel extremely pressured, especially with Taurus Mars here the individual wants to take absolute focus and time as well as devotion when it comes to their pursuing strategy, Taurus Mars dislikes lazy work when they’re passionate about it, but might feel pushed too much and thus lose focus (sometimes out of spite). Now, Neptune here is our dreams and desires, the illusion and the way we connect to the collective, so eventually Neptunes desires add to the pressure of achieving or even slow the individual, as it demands time to retreat in solitude, feel and just aspire to be something bigger than they are now. All that in contact with Saturn can be disheartening to begin with, but also clouds your vision of society and you might get extra protective or even pessimistic, projecting insecurities onto the people around you. The main problem with a fixed cross is the strong focus on just one energy and the neglect of the other ones. Thus, the energy isn’t really released and can lead to harmful eruptions for the individual.
Of course how you manage and fix the cross is up to you, but I hope with the little in depth description I could help you regardless and maybe give you a new insight to the difficulty of the cross!
To your second part of the question: I think you’re really really good in guessing placements!! Btw, being on the subjects of grand crosses: I have two grand crosses in my chart: one is cardinal, the other is fixed! So you’re onto something with your fixed theory! If you maybe want to continue guessing: my moon sign is in a fixed sign xx
Thank you so much dear, and have a great day as well! <3
