I think (especially) in a time where people are experiencing so much cruelty, it's our duty as humans living in the world to try to help others the best we can. We've all wished for someone to be there for us in a time of need, and we can be that for other people.

Hi everyone. As many of you know, my mom passed away by suicide in April. It has been such a cruel time trying to recover from this loss. She was my best friend, caregiver and my everything.

I know it’s not the same as living through it, but I carry the awareness of what’s happening in Gaza and the weight of your pain when we speak.

I feel the injustice of parents putting their children to sleep hungry, the fear of not knowing if tomorrow will come, the exhaustion of moving again and again just to survive, and the grief of losing loved ones in a moment.

It’s not just sympathy — it’s a deep sorrow and anger that the world can allow this to continue.

The occupation continues to kill Gazan journalists in order to suppress and silence the truth that reveals its crimes and systematic genocide against us.

Months of Israeli blockades and crossing closures have prevented them from accessing healthy food. His family has gone twenty days without eating a single piece of bread due to the scarcity of flour and its high price.

Israel recently bombed the sewage system in his area, and now they are at heightened risk of contracting influenza and skin diseases. Malnutrition also damages the immune system, making it extremely difficult to heal from sickness.

Ahmed and his brothers need to travel a distance of 6 kilometers every day to fill contaminated water from the sea. There is no way to purify this water, and it makes them ill.

Ahmed told me that he and his family experience stomach pain, headaches, and constant fainting due to hunger. They only eat polluted water and salt. They do not have any necessities of life: no water, no food, no medicine, and no sanitation.

His family lives a difficult life every day due to famine, bombing, diseases, and homelessness.

I ask everyone to donate to Ahmed and his family and help them so that they can overcome this crisis. Please help them to buy food, medicine, and a new tent.

He deserves to live a decent life.
