Ever since their group had met up with Oliver Queen’s her peaceful little group of survivors had turned into warriors under his thumb. She was not going to be one of them. All he cared about was finding someway to survive. Laurel didn’t want to just survive she wanted to build a better life for all of them. Sometimes that meant a risk for things that weren’t a necessity or trusting people that you had no reason to trust. If she had to give all that up in order to live another day or two, maybe Laurel wasn’t so sure that she wanted to live. At least not by his rules.

Which she had just broken recently. Maybe she couldn’t make a cake and even before the walkers Laurel shouldn’t be the one to cook anything but she could make sure the young girl who was turning sixteen had a small gift. The town wasn’t far from them and alone she could hide and fight better, than trying to look after someone else. Besides they were a lot less likely to notice one person missing than a small group.

Laurel had been waiting for Negan to summon her since he had given her to Oliver as his wife. She was no good as a spy if she wasn’t actually passing information off to him and she wouldn’t be surprised if he was upset that she hadn’t come up with a way to see him and bring some gossip about Oliver. At first it seemed like as good an idea as any, this way she knew her family would be safe and she owed her new husband nothing.

Things were different now. She had gotten to know him and she wanted to believe in his mission. That this life was about as bad as it could get and she could find somewhere better. Maybe there were feelings developing too but she tried so hard not to let those take hold. The last thing either of them needed was the complication of falling for the other.

The meeting hadn’t gone well. Being out of his company for so long she wasn’t used to having to pretend over everything. The fact that she wouldn’t give Oliver up for anything, just made him angrier. He reminded her that she was his wife, that she chose to be with him and that she had to follow his rules like everyone else. She could leave, nothing would happen to her, but all of the perks she got would be gone. It was a death sentence and they both knew it. So he punished her for her disobedience and she played the part of a dutiful wife.

Laurel had been sent back to Oliver, bruised and bloody. She wasn’t even sure how she managed to take a single step, but all she needed was to be with Oliver. The look on his face when he first saw her nearly broke her heart and she had never needed him more. Laurel begged him to stay with her, not to make what she had gone through be for nothing and help her. Anything to not let her be alone right now.

She whimpered as the water first hit her body. A mixture of pain and relief flowing through her. She had no idea what to say to him. How to thank him for taking care of her and the walls that she had used to keep any feelings away were just crumbled. How could he want her? Or love her? Not when she was such a mess. And the only way she could express it all was a kiss. There wasn’t much passion or strength behind it she didn’t have much of either at the moment but everything she did have she put into that kiss.

who wakes the other one up with kisses: On the occasion that Ollie is up before Dinah he’s the one waking her up with kisses, but Dinah has been known to wake him up too.

who cooks for who: Ollie cooks and Dinah helps. She’s been known to make a dish or two but usually when it’s her turn she orders out.

who is the morning person/night person: Both are night people and Dinah is more the morning person. You can usually find her working out in the morning or chatting with Babs.

who is the romantic one: Ollie surprises Dinah with flowers or presents and Dinah will serenade Ollie with songs. And every once in a while it turns into a competition that just gets completely out of control.

who is the top when it comes to sex: They take turns but Oliver loves when Dinah is on top because the view is sexy as hell and she’s always at her best when she’s in control.

who would lead in ballroom dancing: Oliver, he’s had to take classes when he was a kid and is just better at leading in dancing.

who is the more cuddly one: Both, they are a very physical couples and they’re always touching each other. When they’re in bed or on the couch they just naturally gravitate toward each other.

who is the one to most likely pick the movie they watch: Oliver, Dinah doesn’t really care about what they watch. She’s just there to spend time with Oliver and she’s more likely to see a movie she thinks looks good with her girls.

who is the one who would pay for dates: Both pay for dates. It just depends on the circumstances.

🌱- When is their birthday? Where were they born? What was the time of day?

The first born child of Oliver Queen and Dinah Laurel Lance was born on June 5th 2008 at 12:55 am. He was born at Starling City General Hospital with the best doctors in the country.

🔠- Who named them? What does their name mean?

He was named Oliver Queen after his father and goes by the nickname of Ollie. Laurel wanted to honor the man she loved in some way. The name Oliver is an English baby name. In English the meaning of the name Oliver is: The olive tree.

🍳- What is their favorite childhood dish?

Ollie will eat anything but his absolute favorite is his mothers mac n cheese. It’s the only thing Laurel can make and they have it at least once a week. He refuses to eat it though if anyone else makes it.

🏡- What kind of environment did they grow up in? Was it in a rural or farmlike home? Or did they grow up in the cities? Or were they a small town/suburban child?

When Ollie was first born Laurel debated on moving to a safer city but watching her father fall apart and seeing how badly the Queen’s were handling their loses she felt that staying in Starling City was the only option. While their apartment is fairly modest, Ollie also has a bedroom in the Queen mansion that he visits quite frequently.

🌋- How often did they get caught doing something bad?

Ollie is a very mischievous child but most of the time all he does is little things. If he’s with his grandparents he could get away with murder but around Laurel or Tommy he is almost always caught.

🎀- What kinds of games/activities did they like to play?

Anything physical is his favorite. OIlie can sit still for long and Laurel has put him in karate and signed him up for various sports. He enjoys coloring and art as well, unfortunately that includes the walls.
