Look: it’s VERY IMPORTANT to try and understand male INFPS before judging them and thinking they’re cowards or useless just becuase they’re guys and melancholic and look passive didn’t do what you EXPECTED them to do.

That’s just sexist and unfair.

They’re (we’re) not your cool XSTP/XSTJ guys who get the work done even if they have to crush others to, nor the sometimes reckless ESFPs that still do something ‘cause they don’t have shit on their minds 24/7″ and actually life the present a bit more (they’re practical, even if they can act before thinking and in the real live that could go very, very bad -I know that from experience).

We just CAN’T keep on going and DO things we’re not sure they’ll hurt others or ouserselves, we’re pretty sel-insecure and can’t just decide our positition or fight  if we haven’t got all the info we need for that or the mission is just too cruel for us -’cause we actually have VALUES that we respect, thank you very much.

We need TIME to proccess and understand US (yes)so that we can determinate our feelings towards the cause and THEn decide what we’re gonna do. Basically, we need to WANT to do something and that requires time and self-analysis (kinda like when choosing your life career, yes, I’m not joking). Don’t just push people like Shinji or Yukki -precious, sweet boyd swhose life was a SHIT and they wer insecure, timid and emotionally instable from the begginig, to those kinds of situations and expect they’ll be your too cool for school 2D men who apparently don’t need deepness, they’re WAY more realist (Even Subaru from Re:Zero, as a REALIST ESTP, is hated for this too (And Emilia just... for doing nothing. WHAT THE FREAKING HELL, SWEETHEARTS).

Also: unhealthy MBTI types are not likeable, so I get that Shinji (or Yukki) as an unhealthy INFP wasn’t loved, BUT I still don’t understand how Asuka (and Yuno), an incredibly irritating unhealthy ESTJ (and ESFJ), is SO loved.

Look, I get it. She wasn’t really (A DEEP REALLY) THAT bad.

But Shinji (and Yukki) EITHER, and he was just a victim, and not everybody can just KEEP ON FIGHTING as if there wasn’t going shit at the moment as Asuka did (that’s HER capacity, not Shinji’s -his was just trying to understand how that damned world worked and freaking saving humanity “as a hole” though).

Just think about how people will manage if they’d been suddenly thrown to a war. Probably not eveybody could put up with it, they would just go literally insane, which is what characters as these males ARE TRYING TO AVOID -WHILE PROTECTING OTHERS FROM THEIR SHIT AT THE SAME TIME (ain’t that altruistic, at least as their intentions? They’re going through shit but they don’t want others to suffer either, but they don’t have a clue about WHAT to do to save both).

So why people bully them that much? (even Hikari from Digimon, but she WAS strong and found her independence in 02 -you just have to know there are other ways of being strong. She was THE LIGHT, you know? Without her and Takeru, they wouldn’t have won in the fisrt place, and she always tried to protect others the best way she could find even if she was terrified of the darkness withing her -again deep sad feelings who hunted them along with Ken due to past trauma and self-consciousness and that is a real thing-, and with patience and love she understood many misunderstood digimons, and so on).

Ah, yes. The “characters might be useful objects/tools before being humans and relatable and must do as we expect them to” shitty argument again. And it they don’t, we hate them just for being human and being mistaken, and while we’re at that, we admire BAD examples of characters and feel sorry for them and forgive them ’cause they suffered in the past and that gives them the right to do shit to other characters as victims as them but who don’t have a more aggresive personality...

That is HYPOCRITE (in real life, that’s bullying, BTW, an unhealthy agressive type who goes against an unhealthy insecure/shy type). I think part of the reason these guys are so hated is that people actually SEE themselves on them, their weak (for those contexts) real selves. And they hate it. We all hate to see our impotence. In Shokugeki no Souma, something like this is portrayed as Isshiki explained why people actually hated Souma when he was being succesfull WORKING even WITHOUT having a gift for cooking as many others believed (because they don’t actually fight with all their might to achieve their objetives and tell excuses to themselves, basically).
