So i like to compete with my former self in terms of my weight loss. I have so much data from the past 3 years of my weight and it’s really interesting to go back and compare where I am now, to where I was last year, two years ago, and three years ago.
I’ve struggled with consistently gaining weight with each year. I find that every Christmas I am bigger than the year before despite the constant battle with dieting.
Today I was curious to see what my weight was for 2019, 2018, and 2017 on this day (or around this day) ~ the 6th of May.
Today I hit 85.3kg on the scale - (my weight had fluctuated up from eating carbs + refeeding but now its coming back down.)
In 2019 on the 6th of May I weighed 104.3kg. (-19kg difference)
In 2018 on the 5th of May I weighed 97.4kg. (-12.1kg difference)
In 2017 on the 11th of may I weighed 85.3kg.
This means I am the lowest I’ve weighed around this time for the last 2 years and the same as I was in 2017. This shocked me so much! I can’t believe I am back to where I was in 2017 when I am so used to being bigger than the year previous.
I then checked what date I hit my lowest weight of 81.7kg and it was on the 24th of May 2017. Part of me really wants to beat that weight too. I might have to challenge myself to it.
