Me taking a step back and realizing The Clone Wars sure is just Obi Wan and a gaggle of 20-somethings running around doing space war huh. +1 tweenager sometimes.
It's a miracle things weren't more insane than they were tbh.
tbf Obi-Wan has adultier adults to rely on sometimes. Yoda and Mace, Plo and Shaak, Ki-Adi and Jocasta, Tera Sinube and Cin Drallig, etc.
But yes, most of his time is spent with a bunch of twenty-somethings, or enemies, or Bail. It's a nice day when he gets to work with Quinlan or Luminara.

Nico's backstory has changed multiple times. When I make OCs I don't usually start off with an established backstory. Rather, I see how the character acts in game and kind of work backwards from there.
For a while I was very fixated on Mephisto's "You were born for this." comment when he talked about us killing Lilith for him. And so I had a whole backstory about Nico's parents being secretly part of the Triune cult who was going to sacrifice him to the Prime Evils but he ran away and eventually got taken in by a few druids from Scosglen.
I wanted to give him druid connections and a druid sister. Partly because he's very associated with wolves (this is kind of just because the rogue class has a lot of wolf-themed shop items). And partly because my other main Diablo character is my druid, Kashira, and I wanted to keep her as part of my story even if she's not my Wanderer. So that meant I ended up with: Nico got adopted by his druid sister (and yes, it was her decision to adopt a brother, not her mothers').
(This is also why Nico's first meeting with Lorath is described as him "Looking for information on curses so he can help the druid of Túr Dúlra." - because that place is important to his family. And also because it was the first Stronghold quest I ever did and it had a big impact on my first playthrough)
And I also wanted to give him a reason to explain why he choses to do side quests help people. He's alive because of the kindness of strangers who took him in. A part of him will always feel like he needs to pay that forward.
I also have backstory on Nico's adopted mothers (one a druid, and the other a rogue formerly from the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye - that's how he got his rogue training. This is why in one of my fics Lorath makes a comment on his fighting style and how he "didn't think the Sisterhood trained men." Also I made her the actual rogue class quest NPC, Leyrana).
It's still liable to change. Until I actually finish my fic and start posting it, everything is still kind of up in the air. But that's the general gist of it so far.

Suo’s eye skims over the fat of it all. He catches a crack in the drywall and follows it up to the ceiling, where it disappears into a blotch of rot overtaking the wooden planks there. He traces every line he can find—one board to the next, one knot in the wood to another, until his attention leaps down to the frame of the bedroom door.
One of the frosted glass squares is cracked. Through them, he can see a vague shape of the afternoon sun beaming through the window, painting a square on the floor. Even in the golden hour, this place still manages to look dreary—still sounds so dead despite the Earth breathing outside, rustling leaves around grass blades.
Sakura coughs into his arm, wet and phlegmy. Suo hears his lungs crackle on the next inhale, and the muscles in his legs throb almost in tandem.
That ever-present ache along his cranium ticks like a clock. The faucet joins in, as if daring him to stop it.
Oh gosh I never thought I'd talk about him and I haven't touched him for a few years now but let me try my best to explain him
I really really like kormac, so thanutos is my oc to ship with him. Thanutos is a necromancer student sent to investigate the fallen star. Along the way he goes about the main story d3 fans know. It's more post game I care about. After defeating diablo and the angel of death, Thanutos goes back to his necromantic order to try and build it back again, especially after leaning more about nephalem and the first necromancer, Rathma. He starts a small traveling branch of his own necromantic order, and tries to bring a small bit of hope to the world of endless horrors in Sanctuary.
During their travels, Kormac and Thanutos grew close. Long story short, they got together. Thanutos fell first, kormac fell harder.
One of the best students of thanutos's new order is a young necromancer named Letum. Letum is my necromancer for my first diablo iv play through. While he is not technically Thanutos/Kormac's kid, he grew up looking up to them, and traveled across the world to investigate what's going on in the area where d4 takes place.
Letum is also close friends, maybe partners in the future, with my d4 sorcerer who's name has skipped my mind since I haven't played d4 in a bit.
if I ever play d1 or d2, I need to find a way to connect those character lores with my other diablo character lores

Well now I'm curious; who are the angels who broke Malthael's heart? (Feel free to ignore if its spoilers or anything)
A random Valor angel and one from Justice way back when, I haven't given them names (they don't deserve them lbr). They show up for a couple of paragraphs each and are never spoken of again :) None of the Council, at any rate, and not Inarius! (Inarius was even more prone to showing off than his second partner, which already put Mal off him.)
Anyone/anyspecies in obscuraverse celebrate any kind of 'It's Cold Season So Let's Party' holidays?
*Soft gasp* A question? About my original stuff? ; w ;
*Slams down the book of lore* Well get ready then! Got a few holidays that a few different species celebrate!
Winter holidays are found across a wide variety of species, at least those that have a proper "cold season" to celebrate in c:
The most well-known and longest winter holiday is the one celebrated by the Natsook called the "Feast of the Sleeping Sun" that lasts for two weeks.
In the Natsook homeland, the sun will set and not rise for months, dropping the once sweltering hot lands into a bitter, sudden, and deadly cold. During this time, the Natsook return to their subterranean cities and celebrate with a two week feast where they eat and gain weight....then sleep through the rest of the cold season in a food hibernation. Huge party and leads to long sleepy time just to best hibernate through the deadly cold.

Another winter holiday is Little Snow Folk Day that is celebrated by the Cu'Somadi. They have a cold season, but it usually is just cold rain and foggy weather. However, when they do get snow, a rare thing in the land, they celebrate the occasion. The Festival of the Little Snow Folk is celebrated with street stall food and walking about the city to look at all the snowmen that have been made and brought to life.
The Cu'Somadi will compete to build and bring to life the most impressive snow creations. Children will create small snowmen called "Snow babies" and bring them to life where they will run about until they melt away when the cold rains return. It is a festive celebration that happens every time the rare snow day comes.

The last holiday is a rather strange one that is practiced by the Crystalian people. For them, cold weather is all year round with just various degrees of cold but they thrive and adore the cold. However, in the "winter" the blizzards and snowstorms happen way more often leading to huge piles of snow drifts....and thus begins the Snowball season. During this season, various individuals will try to nail the high priest of Azorath in a given city with a snowball. If they succeed, it is a day off work as the entire city most then declare a massive snowball fight to last the whole day. Stalls of food are put out, huge stockpile of snowballs are made, all because someone hit the high priest.
However hitting the high priest is not an easy feat as many of them are super paranoid around this season and are good at dodging snowballs and keeping the city from having anarchy everyday.
<A high priest who couldn't dodge in time....>
There are other winter holidays, but these three were the ones that came to mind first c:
