So playing a mutant future campaign (basically fallout as D&D) and most of the party went to go get some supplies. On their way back to the base, they get jumped by some junkie and end up killing him. A nearby officer says they're gonna have to take the party down to the station for questioning. One of the robots screams out he isn't going to jail, shoots a jet of acid, misses hitting a civilian, and ends up forcing the party to fight and then kill the cop. My character was at the base, watching a game show on tv waiting for the party to come back from their small shopping trip. We are all now fugitives and have killed five cops and can never return to Massachusetts. @epicsicknasty

So I work in a liquor store, and I have a number of regulars. One of them is an immigrant from Poland who fought in the Vietnam war. He was drunk coming in, but he walked there. Regular: so lemme ask you this, are you a writer? Me, a dungeon master: uh well I would say yes, not in the traditional sense really but yeah. Regular: let me make you an offer, how about I let you write my life story. It'll make millions. Me, at work and school full time: I really appreciate the offer, but I've got more on my plate than I can really handle, so I'm going to have to decline. Regular: you're not a writer you piece of shit, you're going to regret this day. He proceeds to ask four people that come in for a ride home before I have to call a cab.
