And thus concludes Year #1 in the beautiful land of medical school...!!!

Checking things off the bucket list for first year MCG med school experience-

_X_ Attended a Richmond County Medical Society's Meeting, networking with some of the senior doctors in town.

_X_ Attended the Students for Community Involvement banquet and then presented a Jeopardy style health and exercise lesson to students at Tufts Middle School.

_X_ Talked to a couple of much older doctors during the MCG Phonathon Event--Class of 1064 was still very represent at the Alumni Associations annual Alumni weekend.

_X_ Networked with more senior doctors at the Legends club and got to have dinner with the assistant dean of MCG, Dr. Wallach as well as the president of the school, Dr.Azziz.

_X_ Attended a fun celebratory end-of-the year dinner with Vallarta restaurant with my awesome internal medicine preceptor- excited to shadow him this summer.

_X_ Went to the Raft Debate! What an exciting event with a rather flexible intern (kids are just smaller adults ;)), a creative surgeon (will use colleagues carcasses to make tools on island), a resourceful pediatrician (bringing the lighters all day every day) and a cunning devil (represents the role of biomedical sciences all the way). Fun event with good questions to think about related to career.

_X_ Appreciated the donation from my very very first patient (the corpse) from anatomy lab at our class of 2017 body donor memorial. What a beautiful and memorable event.

_X_ Participated in the first years' field day event with my class and although I sprained my ankle, it was so incredibly fun to be a part of "chicken lunch"! My classmates have some crazy awesome skills.

Now moving onto Summer 2014--

The moment after a very funny comment, discussions that turned crazy, and blooper acts of my classmates that sent the whole class, even the professors, to laughter, until our jaws and tummies ached...
