Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu
It all ends up tomorrow and I'm not mentally nor emotionally ready for this
I am so torn right now. I want to see more First Unit. They’re so incredible. But I also want more of Second Unit as well. I hope that ufotable will have a bit more of the First Unit while still focusing on the Second Unit’s growth and development. The action scenes are just awesome as ever. As expected of ufotable, they never fail in this department.
Some Thoughts
So it looks like Katsugeki will finish itself up with the Second Unit’s final mission which will likely span over the last 4 or 5 episodes. This could either mean the last episode of Katsugeki will be the end of Katsugeki as a series and it won’t get a season 2 because all things have been dealt with for the Second Unit, or if the Second Unit’s character arc finishes up this season and if season 2 is announced, the next season will focus on a different unit ( Hopefully the first unit since they’re already established characters and their character arc got pretty much cut off in episode 8 without any real closure for them. Also some of the things Mikazuki talked with Saniwa about could be touched on, like how the citadel used to be in season 2. ) . It’s interesting how they’re establishing that the series is almost over in episode 8 of all things, giving me the impression that there maybe won’t be a season 2 due to how they’re handling things. Hopefully they have more interesting events in store for us in the last few episodes since the first few episodes featuring the Second unit were pretty “ eH “ in my opinion. .

Episode 8
I’m so impressed. I’ll do my analysis of the episode later, Right now all I have to say is: I love episode 8 as much as I love episode 1
Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu Episode 7 *Spoilers(?)*
I’m so impressed... I don’t even have words, but I still have some things to say:
- I missed my boys
- So... for some swords names are important but for others names means nothing?
-I missed my boys
-Honebami... my son <3

-I really feel bad for Yamanbagiri. I mean, I knew he felt bad for being a forgery but this is way to heartbreaking...

-I want to know the name of the white fox

-What the hell happened? that’s some kind of ghost? a Youkai? why does it is able to do that?
-I missed my boys
-So, apparently the first unit IS the best unit. I mean Yamanbagiri and Honebami defeated the ootachi so... easily, while Tonbokiri got cracked fighting another one... I’m not complaining but it was way too easy for me, I’d like to see more complicated fights

-Like I said last week, it seems like everybody thinks that jiji knows best. He is cool and everything but I still don’t like him

-Jiji can fight!! he doesn´t seem too old to me if he can fight like this

-I really love Honebami, but not as much as I love Horikawa Kunihiro

First Unit!

Hyuuga starts off with a quick attack, Nikkari follows shortly after. They mostly keep Taroutachis back free for strong killing blows. Mikazuki, Nagasone and Sengo are able to dash in more quickly and ward off sudden attacks while they clear the path.
As the captain changes over time to train everyone on this task, the current one is Nagasone: one of three genuine Kotetsu I own."

[A team with some of the swords who survived the Honmaru attack. Sengo is in place of Tonbokiri now - to prove and see for himself that if one Muramasa can be of luck, he can be too. I also think he and Nagasone could be good buddies:
One is rejected for being the real thing (Muramasa - curse), the other is rejected for allegedly not being a real one - even if there's no proof (Nagasone). I also think their energies match as chaotic friends haha.
Nikkari and Taroutachi are family actually (Aoe school). Without their usual chosen brothers/ partners they try to knit the family ties a bit. A good opportunity for Nikkari to leave more of his guilt behind. Bonus for cursed Duo Sengo - Nikkari.
Hyuuga found himself a bit lost at first, but learned to open himself towards the others, as well as Jiji!]
