23. What are your OCs biggest flaws and biggest strengths - Curly.
Right, so one thing you've always got to know about Curly is that he hasn't got any sense of permanence. He doesn't bother putting roots down because, well, why should he? He doesn't care about leaving an impact. Live in the moment, isn't it?
So, he'll leave kids dotted in various London boroughs and never bother to check in on them, get jobs for momentary money and never put the work in, he frequents pubs and clubs and never makes any real friends, he breaks women's hearts because, well, they won't care, will they?
But they do care, and his kids will wonder why they don't have a father to love him (there's also something to be said about Lost Boys here, when Jane goes to Neverland and notices a good 3 boys, all with her Uncle Curly's nose.), his jobs will fire him for slacking off, at pubs and clubs he is sat alone, not speaking, and the women he leaves wonder if they're the only ones.
For his biggest strengths, I think that, despite all that, when he cares he cares. He can't stand to see people sad, and will always comfort those in need. He's a fun guy to be around, and can brighten up a dark day. Yes, he fucks everything up, but... well, he doesn't really know he's done that, does he? And so when he does realise something is his fault, he makes up for it.
He cares a lot about those close to him. The Lost Blokes, the Darlings, the only wife who he's genuinely cared so much for, and her beautiful children, his nephews and nieces, the memory of Neverland. All of it. He cares.
20. A nostalgic memory from your OCs childhood - The Twins.
I'm going to do them both.
F.T., I think, always found himself the smarter one of the two twins. Thought highly of himself. S.T. should follow HIM, not vice versa. I don't think he was like, Slightly Soiled level 'Nananana I Am Brilliant' (yeah. slightly is roland rat now. i guess he is.) however, I do think F.T. really liked it when Wendy came and introduced School to the boys. I think F.T. might have been a bit of a nerd, he remembers the first time he Got math, Got reading, Got school. The first time things made proper sense. Sat round a table and doing the sums that might have confused the others always is a fond memory, but doesn't like remembering having to pretend he was confused on the questions S.T. was.
S.T., then, now, IDK if I've made it that obvious but they're nonbinary ("a little silly" in Neverland terms) and very GNC. And since the twins have to be always identical, this has caused a lot of issues. For one, F.T. trying to mimic S.T. in being a "little silly" and that made him uncomfortable, and S.T. trying to be a boy made them uncomfortable. They do identify as a Lost Boy because Lost Boy is a title, not a descriptor. You can have girls who use she/her in the Lost Boys but theyre still Lost Boys, and so much more.
But obviously, being from London, Wendy, Michael and John just kind of assumed they're all Male Boys. And it was when Wendy saw The Twins and accepted them as twins, but saw S.T. and went "Are you really a Lost Boy? Are you a boy or... are you a girl?" And then when they responded "I'm a little silly who doesn't know what I am!" Wendy just laughed and accepted them. They look on that fondly. Not having to pretend to be a boy or anything else just for someone elses sake. That's a nice memory.
6. The thing your OC likes least about themselves? - Peter.
Well, I do think we all know this one.
It's the remembering names and not faces. Or sometimes faces and not names. Or sometimes nothing at all.
It's the muscle memory taking him to houses he's not sure who lives in, not sure why he goes there.
It's the not knowing who's who. Forgetting his boys names. Forgetting Wendy, sometimes.
He doesn't want to. Really doesn't want to. He hates it that his stupid head makes him forget things. He's tried to stop it, really, he has! But it never works. Nothing ever stays. He doesn't know why he forgets... or how to stop it.
