Hello! This is my first log! I just got back from a trip.. I got a ton of cool stuff!

I got this cool needle cause mine broke, some cloth to make a new dress, and some food for the next week or so! I might go tomorrow out tomorrow as well, though.. seeing as mister Titus and mister Twig are going out for lunch!

Today was Titus’ birthday! So both the Ingrids went out for dinner..! That means I’ll get some of the leftovers! That way if the lunch plants are canceled and they just heat up the leftovers from tonight, I can eat whatever they left out!

I wrote Mister Titus a card, and signed it as Twig! I hope he likes it!

Current project: Gu Yun (or rather, Sha Po Lang audio drama), bouncing ball animation practice

Well, it's taken it's sweet time but the Snake is finally coming together. She's a fantastic little stepping stone until I can scrape some more credits together, more than enough to try and follow in Eichwald's tracks. Every time we dock I'm able to update more and automate more of her parts and pieces, trying to remove the need for a crew. I think they're beginning to notice.

This week I fulfilled my role as PR and Media manager by setting up our band Tumblr (aurevoireyes), Instagram (@AuRevoirEyesBand), Twitter (@AuRevoirEyes) and Soundcloud (Au Revoir Eyes). All of which I will keep up to date as the band develops.

As a band the songs we worked on this week were ‘Girl From The North Country’ by Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash + ‘I’m a Man You Don’t Meet Everyday’ by The Pogues. This week we were only able to meet within lessons as we have not yet arrange a schedule outside of lessons. We discussed possible venues. This included exploring what type of atmosphere, audience and location would be most preferable. We’ll look further into this next week and begin contacting places of interest.

In our version of ‘Girl From The North Country’ Bluboy sings the first verse, I sing the second verse and Ruby sings the third. We all sing the chorus, then Blu and I sing the fourth verse. We finish with a call and response to end the song. Blu plays guitar and Ruby plays Ukulele throughout the song. After this week’s rehearsals we were able to get ‘Girl From The North Country’ to a standard that we felt comfortable uploading to Soundcloud.

In the original recording of this song, the structure is different and it’s just Bob Dylan singing. We’ve chosen to cover the Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash version of this song and have stuck with the structure used in the following video.

But added the use of a ukulele and more vocalists. We achieved this after one and a half rehearsals, which I believe was very efficient use of our time. It also means that we are on track for the coming weeks and will hopefully have five performable songs by the time of the gig.

We also started work on ‘I’m a Man You Don’t Meet Everyday’ which is going very well. I’m the vocalist for this song with Ruby playing the tin whistle and Blu playing guitar. I think that after one more run through we should be able to upload a demo version of it onto Soundcloud. The original song was a traditional Scottish or Irish music hall song but we chose The Pogues version because of it’s already formulated structure and because it’s the more familiar version of the song making it more appealing for audiences.

181595520+ is the time since I had Caffeine. Coffee Addict, Tea Lover, Espresso, etc. are the different words they use to define me. Even today, standing exactly opposite to the place where I used to drink tea right after high school, made me cry. There wasn’t a single day I hadn’t drunk tea or coffee those two years! Or maybe you could say that I only survived on them.

The first time I ever had coffee, was 16 years ago, exactly the time when Amma was giving me potty training. “This kid drinks coffee and tea?”, and Amma said “Yes! He loves it!” And not drinking it for than two weeks now, feels worse than puberty!

All I could ever think was coffee when Granddad was in hospital. Not being able to understand the situation completely, final year of high school and not attending seven months of it, no social network relationship, ain’t no nothing those few months!

My life after my Granddad left revolved around few things. Coffee & Tea, Share Autos, Cigarette Smoke, and Tuition! All I ever wanted to become was a Connoisseur, with Food!

Life then made a steep curve.

This past week we have been learning the the design principles and elements.E.G- balance,alignment message ect. First we came up with our own definition and then we found the google definition. After we found the definition we made a blog post and combine our definitions together. I found it quite hard to get my head around tumblr but i got there in the end.
