my first i love you story is kinda boring but !! my now bf and i were sitting on his bed going through tumblr and i saw an ask and answer type of thing and one of them was 'are you in love' we were best friends then and we were kinda flirting and kissing and stuff but we didn't know how we felt. when we came to the question, i asked him and he said 'yeah.. i'm in love' and i said the same thing and then we looked at each other and blushed and kissed and it makes me super happy thinking about it

My ily story with my current boyfriend is very good. He apparently fell in love with me Very fast but didn't want to say it until the time was right. I had started hinting it for a few days. It was my birthday and I was really tired and we were talking late at night and I fell asleep for like 20 minutes and when I woke up he was like 'I love you, oh you didn't respond I said it too soon, sorry' but I got really flustered and explained I loved him too I just fell asleep

As long as we're talking about first ily stories, I would like to mention that I first said "I love you too" to my boyfriend at 4:20

my first i love you was at one in the morning on december 26. i had stayed up late texting my best friend and they said it after i said that i should sleep but didn't want to because talking to them made me feel at home and alive and amazing and i cried tears of joy because no one who wasn't blood related who i loved back had ever said it to me before

oooh my first I love you story!! so it was my bf's birthday weekend and we were at a bar with his friends and my dumb ass got insanely drunk and started throwing up so he made us leave which made me very upset because I knew I was ruining his night. so we get to his house and I'm crying hysterically bc he is obviously angry with me and he went upstairs at first, but then he came back down and carried me to his room and laid me down and made me look him in the eyes and that's when he told me<3

okay i'm joining in on the first ily stories (this is the same anon who was playing video games with my boyfriend when he kissed me) and we were playing ANOTHER video game and we were fighting a boss or smth and iN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIGHT HE STARTED FUCKIGN PUTTING DOWN A SIGN AND I WAS LIKE "I'M GONNA DIE HELP ME" AND HE FUCKIN WROTE "I LOVE YOU" ON THE SIGN AND I CRIED AND I WASN'T SURE IF HE MEANT IT BUT HE DID AND I TOLD HIM THAT I LOVED HIM TOO AND GOD I CANT WAIT TO SEE HIS CUTE FACE AGAIN

I'm the endless boop kiss anon from awhile back if you remember! Haha, awhile after that I was the first one to say ily, it was a little awkward. He had to leave to go to work and I was Not Going to Let Him Go until I said it, so I stood there for a few minutes while I worked up the courage. I said it and he immediately said it back as like a reflex, then it sorta sunk in (he didn't even finish saying too) and he pulled me into a really tight hug. He's so sweet I love him so much!
