The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, 1970. Dario Argento
I can't believe this is a first feature. It is brilliant giallo. Beautiful, perfect looking women and great artistic avant - garde shots and bright colors. The last 3rd slows down a lot and it is a little long and slow paced. There are some amazing murder scenes in this one. They are really fun and crazy and great. If you are a fan of older or classic horror, especially foreign, will like this one, I think. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a glimpse in to the soul of an Italian pulp paperback in 1960s.
Principal photography completed on Nancy Urich's FEED. What an unforgettable, magical production! Thanks to the incredible crew and cast for their talent and heart (and thanks to so many more not pictured here!)

Gray) wants to follow in her father’s footsteps, Lawless, a local hip-hop legend murdered just as he…
