A month or so had passed since her birthday and things had mellowed out a bit. Despite everything going down, Summer hadn’t had the opportunity to ask her parents any questions about her real life, but she was planning too over the holiday that was coming up when she went home to see her family. The only part that made her sad was is that she wasn’t going to see Blake for a little while, she was used to seeing him everyday.
Regarding her brother, Summer had actually taken the initiative to get to know him and spend time with him. Even though her and Winter were twins, they were very different in personality. While one was cold and distant, the other was warm and charming. Slytherin and Gryffindor, who would’ve thought? They looked quite a bit alike though, and you could tell they were twins just by looking at them. She had found out that Winter didn’t know about his sister until only a few months beforehand, when their mother had decided now was the time to tell him. She had no idea where Summer was, hence why they had never gotten into contact before. When she had given him the chance to explain and get to know her, it was like the two were never separated. They had quickly become best friends, and now that she was close to her brother, it was almost hard for her to remember what it was like to live without him.
Between her and Blake, things were working out fine. She loved her boyfriend, not that she had told him that yet, as she wasn’t sure if she was ready, after all, she was still adjusting to being around him a lot and being attached to someone other than herself. But she was happy with him and that’s all that mattered to her. They were good together. He kept her level headed and calm, and she made him confident and bold, keep him going. She was happy.
