Love both bdjsdhj although rivals/enemies to lovers is my absolute favourite, like cannot live without it😭😭😭 probably kinda obvious since I’m a jamilton stan. There’s nothing that hits quite like bickering and snarky jabs, the begrudging respect, and of course the “oh. oh.” moment!! The casual sex —> catching feelings trope is also a favourite of mine and goes with this very nicely :)
Lovers to enemies always hits for me, although I never seek it out specifically and it’s always fucking devastating so like it either has to have “to lovers” tacked onto the end or I can never reread that fic again because it emotionally wrecked me. Also I consider Hamilton/Burr’s relationship in canon to fall under this trope and that’s why non-fluffy hamburr fics always have me crying throwing up etc.
