I think Geri pretends everything is fine during the whole episode but they break up at the end because it turns out that she cant handle this family feud and being with Cordell while hes in conflict with Gale and the Davidsons. Theres a scene in the trailer where they argue and i think this is it

This is actually an interesting point. I do remember seeing the argument scene but my optimism let me think there was a rational resolution to the issue.

 Like finnwalker is awesome because it forces finn’s importance into the narrative and literally no one can possible write him out and he’ll be the star of the next trilogy, every other skywalker will be black/mixed of some kind, representation for years....but also lost prince finn (old old meta about finn being from a fringe jungle planet where it rains a lot (i think?) and his parents are the royalty). This is cool because it gives finn his own story without his importance being tied to “luke” and it doesn’t hinder his ability to be force sensitive, but it also introduces a new planet and family into the universe.
